Japango Reviews
On our most recent visit on September 20th, I had the sushi sashimi moriwase and it was the best ever I have ever had! Even our guests from Vancouver exclaimed that it is better than Vancouver's! Thank you Lily for the excellent service and compliments to Chef Simon for a very memorable gastronomic experience. See you again soon!
The service was great, cost for the entrée fish was low for the quality, very limited seating but overall excellent value I will be back
Truly delicious sushi! The staff were courteous and helpful but this is a small, popular, busy place of excellent reputation. So be on your wits! I'm not accustomed to being offered to choose from the daily menu flown from Tokyo Market! I'll take better advantage of that menu next time :-)

Japango is a popular sushi restaurant known for its fresh and delicious offerings. The signature Japango roll is a highly recommended menu item, along with dishes like the agedashi tofu, crunchy spicy tuna rolls, sea urchin sushi, and scallop sashimi. The cozy and intimate atmosphere, praised for being warm, clean, and well-lit, makes Japango a solid choice for sushi lovers. Many customers appreciate the good price for decent sushi and often choose takeout since orders are prepared quickly. The dinners typically come with a salad and miso soup, which are noted for being homemade and tasty. The sushi is always fresh, and the staff are friendly, contributing to the restaurant's reputation as a favorite spot for many. Customers find it to be a cozy place with attentive service, often describing it as a romantic and chill dining experience. While the limited seating means there’s sometimes a wait, the quality of the food makes it worthwhile, with many stating that it offers an authentic Japanese experience. Recently, guests have raved about the kaisendon and sushi sashimi moriwase, with some claiming it surpasses sushi from other cities.
