We got the kaisendon and it was the best fish I’ve ever had. The service is amazing, the server is so kind, the atmosphere is lovely and the place is very warm, clean, smells good good and lit well. Cozy!

I don’t usually write reviews unless something truly wows me so here I am. I ate here for dinner tonight and I was shocked at how good everything was. The atmosphere is very cozy and intimate. It’s a romantic, chill dining experience with only 6-7 tables total. I ordered the sushi deluxe which came with miso soup and the usual ginger salad. But the salad was anything but usual. It was amazing. I usually don’t like the store bought ginger dressing that most places use but this one was clearly homemade and made to perfection. I actually drank the remaining dressing. Same with the miso. It’s clearly made from scratch and taste so much richer and tastier. The sushi itself was fresh and decadent. Very tasty. The salmon avocado roll that I upgraded too was great size and delicious. Definitely come here when in Downtown Toronto!!!!

First time visiting and the food was fresh and high quality for an affordable price! The store is on the smaller side but the interior is cozy and intimate. It has an open kitchen and the chef is super attentive and friendly. Definitely my new goto spot!

This place is seriously a secret gem, when I came back from Japan I found that this was very much the Japanese experience: intimately snug, incredibly fresh fish and ultra attentive staff. 5 star at 3 dollar sign prices. Skip the expensive places and come here for the Japanese experience.
