The best sushi I’ve had in Toronto
Amazing sushi and sashimi
If you order items yourself it’s worth it and very nice but pricy.
However the omakase menu is a 135 plus tax b ur portions are small and nothing that crazy just order items yourself instead.
Great quality sushi for a reasonable price. Very delicious.
Delicious sashimi!
Still my favorite sushi joint downtown. Not overly fancy but excellent quality fish and meals. Try the agedashi tofu, crunchy spicy tuna rolls, sea urchin sushi, or scallop sashimi.
It’s been a while since I last visited but I’m glad to be back. Enjoyed the nigiri lunch. Fresh, tasty and well prepared.
Very bad service . Staff is not good . They dont have manners how to treat people.
Sashimi was good, tuna don is very sub par with no sauce at all, sea urchin super fishy and nor fresh
Good price for decent quality sushi! The downside is that the dine in space is relatively small. So we actually commonly do take out which is super handy for us and they’re quick to pump out orders. The dinners we commonly order come with a salad and miso soup which we think is a great addition.

We get takeout from here whenever we visit Toronto. The sushi is always so fresh and delicious. The spicy Mayo looks off putting at first but is really good and just needs a stir. I think about this sushi anytime I am eating sushi somewhere else. Staff are friendly and prices are reasonable. We have not eaten in so I cannot speak on that. Not sure on parking as we usually walk from our hotel.
My favorite downtown sushi spot since high-school, very good quality. First time trying their sushi and sashimi party tray and they looked wonderful!
We came on a snowy Thursday evening and it was not very busy. We ordered tempura appetizers to start and each had a sashimi deluxe dinner and a sushi deluxe dinner. Each of the mains we ordered comes with miso soup and salad. Everything was well presented and fresh tasting. Not many set main dinner options to select from especially if you come for dinner. There are a variety of à la carte options to select from their menu. The restaurant itself is very tiny and not much seating space inside. There is also a considerable amount of wear and tear on the tables inside and only one waitress managing all tables and online orders.
As others have mentioned, this place used to be amazing but I was quite disappointed by my recent dining experience, best described as lacking love and sour service bordering on hostile. If you are considering whether to Japango, just say sayonara!
*I don’t normally review restaurants but felt it had to be done as a PSA.
I ordered the sushi dinner. it was delicious. It came with a miso soup and salad. Very fresh sushi! I upgraded to salmon rolls instead of the California rolls you get with it for couple extra dollars. Definitely my go to spot when I’m downtown!
