Used to be good. They won’t split your bill even though every POS system can do this easily, they add gratuity for small groups automatically, and they have the balls to charge a 2.5% credit card fee.

They slipped some other tables stuff on our bill as well. Scammers or idiots who knows.

I came here many times and server said it was a last call but still serving others tables. Moreover, it's not only happend once. I came here to chill out with my friend but we cannot even order drinks.

Prices are above average. Menu has rather wide selection.
Tonkotsu ramen was almost $20. Great pork and egg, broth a little too salty for my taste.
A pitcher of beer cost $25. Good beer, I think it filled a bit more then five glasses.
The place has an atmosphere like an Izakaya except without the ongoing group greetings and farewells. There is a section deep un the restaurant but with a window facing Bloor Street where there are bar games to play like darts. Loud and energetic atmosphere at times, not my type. The waitresses are friendly and will banter with customers in English or Japanese (of any skill level if you want to learn or practice if it isn't so busy).

Ate out in the patio with a couple friends! They ran out of matcha cake and Japanese cheese cake that night but the Shumai was good!

Come here pretty often since almost 10 years ago, always a good choice for late night snack n drink.

They offer a huge menu from Japanese ramen, yakitori to western snacks like nachos, fries etc. Also a huge drink menu(mostly Asian liquor)but not an expensive one.

The vibe here is vivid but not too noisy, you don’t need to screaming to talk.

I’ll say it’s the place to enjoy drinking and having fun.

Terrible experience. We sat for over 2 hours and didn't receive our food, the servers completely ignored us to prioritize other clients, and made us late tor an event.

Overall they ruined part of a birthday experience and I would never suggest this place to anyone.

Pitcher of beer was $46. That's just ridiculous.
