I walked into the restaurant around 11:40am. The place looks packed. The girl at the front is just looking at me. No hello, no hi.Me: "Hello."Her: "Uhh hello."Me: "Just for one."Her; "We are very busy at the moment."I was about to say that's fine, I will wait. But she said "okay, follow me."She takes me past everyone and all the tables ti the window seat. Not just the window seats she points me to the seat closest to that door as well. I was like well this is probably the worst seat in the entire place. I asked her for a glass of water, she said okay be right back. That water didn't come till 2 servers after and I had asked. Next time she comes to check on me, but by the time I was finishing my sentence, she was already gone. The other two waitresses were superb, but the main one behind the bar is a bit*ch. At the end she came to check on me then I asked for the bill. Again, it didn't come until I asked ANOTHER waitress. The food is expensive for what the amount.

Great food, and service! It got loud at the end with a lot of friends groups talking loudly. At the start of the evening it was cozy and we could have a normal conversation. Would recommend! They have a darts board.

Great vibe in the place. We went as soon as they opened but service was nice and quick. The food was amazing as well but I didn’t think we got the enough quantity per the price competitively. But everything else was great, so we had a nice time.

I've been a long time customer of Japas (almost 10 yrs). Go there quite often with my friends, sometimes every weekend. Yesterday when i was going to pay and leave, the female Viet server asked me "is that your 3rd girl that you brought here?" I was completely taken a back. I don't think the servers should be commenting on customers personal life at all. This incident left a completely bad impression on me and may result in my group of friend and I to just look for a new bar.

The yakitori is not good but the ramen selection and vegetarian options are fair.

Bland broth, tough and overcooked pork and soggy noodles. An incredibly overpriced, mediocre meal.

Always a fun time at Japas! The staff are friendly and the food never disappoints. We love the Japanese tapas menu, so much variety - I highly recommend the chicken gizzards and the udons here! For entertainment, you can pay a $10 deposit for the plastic darts and play with the dart machines at the back. The darts are made of cheap quality so, the tips will break - you can always ask the staff for fresh tips.Pro: prob the only restaurant on Bloor West that has washrooms on the main floor and not the basement!Only con: cash or debit only

Such a delightful experience at one of the best places to get ramen in Toronto. People think you need to go to the most expensive place or classiest place but this establishments offers the most quality tasting food. Don’t get me wrong there’s better out there but for the amazing service, outstanding atmosphere and amazing customers (trust me, they’re amazing, there was an artist there just chilling making art and he was so talented), you can not go wrong!

Really quaint and easy going atmosphere with amazing food. I had the to jitsu ramen. Chicken karaage, and gyoza. Their Gyoza and karaage were absolutely delicious and savoury. The ramen was great although I’m not the biggest fan of bean sprout in my ramen. Very casual and perfect to go out with

Everything we ordered was skilfully prepared and absolutely delicious. Grilled mackerel is one of my favourite things, and it was the best sharing plate followed closely by okonomiyaki. This food pairs well with a light Japanese beer like Asahi. I wish it was closer to where I live.

Absolutely incredible, delicious, legit izakaya food. Scrumptious small plates made with care. Especially great okonomiyaki, yakitori and beef skewers, and miso soup. Comfortable atmosphere with lots of seating. Kind and accommodating Japanese staff. Very highly recommended. We'll be back.
