A super spot for pre-theatre drinks and/or dinner. Great vibe - wonderful music. The service and food were great and very attentive to time constraints with theatre tickets.
Fantastic place. The service, food, music and overall ambiance was just superb. This was my first time here, but I will be making return visits. I really enjoyed everything.
Great location for going to mirvish afterwards .. food and service were very good .. jazz was calming but not obstructive
We started with the charcuterie board which was good. I had the risotto which was tasteless and my husband had the short ribs which he also didn't enjoy. I would go back for the jazz but have dinner elsewhere.
Had a wonderful time! And oh so convenient being across the street from Mirvish. My online booking note was considered for my sisters birthday and I appreciated the flexibility in seating. Musician was excellent, loved the atmosphere, highly reco the lamb and breaded pudding, fabulous wine and cocktails. It's a splurge but well worth it. Thank you! đ”đčđ«¶đ»âš
Single tables too close together. Difficult to get in and out. Nothing you can do about this. Food- so-so. Ordered chicken fettuccine. Found it to be watery. A change in the menu would be welcome. Seating is a little too close to the musicians ( fine for one performer, but really loud for 4 performers in a quartet) drowning out the ability to hear and visit. (I wear hearing aids). Nice venue, close to Mirvish.
Will be going back soon. One of the best zazz bars with great food and service. Loved being there.
Delicious dinner and awesome music đ¶! Servers were very friendly and accommodating.
We came with low expectations given the other reviews, but the food was actually good! Not the greatest but better than the average and suits its type of restaurant. Service was attentive and flawless. The bandâs cover charge was a little steep but they were worth it.

I'm obsessed with this place. New artists every day, beautiful jazz music, such a relaxed yet elevated atmosphere. Would come here every day if I could! Get the dirty martini for the full experience :)

The atmosphere of this venue was phenomenal! The live entertainment was the perfect pairing for a drink. The staff was very kind and accommodating which made the whole experience that much sweeter. Will be returning soon!

I rarely leave reviews but itâs important I share the awful service we received here at jazz bistro. I believe we were being PROFILED by the manager , almost insinuating we wanted to dine and dash for food we didnât eat and still paid for.
One thing to note is that the live band was great but sadly we didnât get to enjoy much of it as we left shortly. My friend and I ordered the seafood pasta and as soon as the plates touch the table I could smell how raw the seafood was, decided to give it a taste and the shrimp was rubbery and clearly undercooked, same for the pasta which was cold and tough to chew on. We immediately notified the server and they let us know it would be ârecookedâ . About 5 minutes later we received our plates back and it was still the same, at that point we were unsure about ordering anything else off the menu cause we didnât know how it would be cooked. The server apologized and she took the dishes. Shortly after a man which I suppose is the manager comes over to us and asks why we didnât like the food. We mentioned that the food was undercooked twice and not safe to eat. He goes on to say â this is really good food this is expensive food â and by the way it will be going on your bill. And we said thatâs okay but we just canât eat it , then he continues to-try to persuade us about taking the food home saying it doesnât feel good for him having to throw the food out. We mentioned to him if we took it home we wouldnât be eating it either and it would just go to waste. Again reiterating that the food was no safe to eat , he continues to basically harass and force us to take the food home even suggesting we give it to a homeless person. We kept repeating to him that we do not want it. Not only did he not once offer an apology, he kept stating to us that we SHOULD take the food home. During this whole ordeal the live band was still playing , so this was completely interrupting and ruining our experience. After an almost 10âminutes of back and forth I say fine just so we can move on. Later on, one of the waitresses comes back asking if we wanted to get anything else and we opted for desert , after this we mentioned to her how awful we were being treated by the manager and decided we were not going go take the food home with us. She apologized and we left shortly. I wouldnât recommend going here to anyone.

Great atmosphere and decal. Very swanky place with good music. Food is a little overpriced and bland, with service being slow and inattentive.
