Their cake is very good. I used to make a weekend trip to Toronto from Buffalo. It's funny how Chinese go crazy about this place just because the owner said Happy Korean New year. Well. It is Lunar new year and it has Korean new year, Japanese new year, Taiwanese new year, Chinese new year and etc. Each country has its own way to celebrate this day. So, their logic is simply "everything is ours."

Literally the best tasting cake I have ever tried! We ordered online and selected a pick up and we came and the cake was ready for us on the day we scheduled for pick up.We ordered a matcha strawberry shortcake and all I have to say is the cake is so light and fluffy and not too sweet and what I love even more about this place is that it doesn't use American styled buttercream icing, they use a whip cream type which gives it such a light and not overly sweet taste ??The cake also looks sooo cute but the taste is what will have me come back! The price is pretty on par with many other cake places for the size.

We did a cake class with the Jellybean staff and it was hands down one of the most fun cooking classes I've taken in the city. The team at Jellybean were prompt and courteous in communication, and the class was well organized where all our ingredients were pre-measured, and the cooking space was neat. The cake itself was absolutely delicious: not too sweet, light and fluffy and had a subtle, clean flavour. We make the Earl Grey Chiffon Cake, and had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend their cooking classes, and cakes.

I wanted to try the cake that I bought first before writing a review so that this is a fair review. I'll start with the positive. The earl grey chiffon cake was really delicious. The cream was soft, smooth, and the earl grey flavor was subtle but still came through. I really liked the cake and it was definitely well made. What I didn't appreciate about this business was the inconsistent messaging. If you a run a business, what your services are should be crystal clear. I actually came about a week ago, and looks like the business ended up updating their google information a week ago. I had suggested they make their business clear that they are take out and pick up only. It wasn't very obvious at the time when I visited and I had only walked in for an unhappy staff member to tell me they don't sell anything in store. I felt unwelcomed for sure from a first impression and first time visitor.Another staff member decided to offer to make me a cake in 15 minutes and I just had to wait for it. I had made the trip, so I waited. It did end up being closer to an hour for the cake to finish, but I didn't mind. It kind of seemed like they were just squeezing me for a sale at this point. What I found more inconsistent was when one of the staff cashed me out for the cake told me they do sell product sometimes. So it was just confusing. Very mixed messaging. So you don't sell items in store, but you do? Which one is it? Are you pickup/takeout only? Or can you do in store shopping? It was just confusing and a bit disappointing. Their signage on their door did also not indicate pickup or takeout only. I had assumed it would be a bakery that you can buy slices of cake etc. But maybe I wasn't being observant enough on their socials or website at the time. However, just so everyone knows and doesn't make the same mistake I did. This place is PICKUP and TAKEOUT only.

Order via Uber, totally worth the price. Got the blueberry and tiramisu croffle. The texture was crunchy and if you aren’t into sweet things this is just right for you.

This place makes the best cakes that I have personally ever had. They are also very responsive and considerate of any of the customers wants. I have been here many times and it is ALWAYS POSITIVE. Please do not read the 1 star reviews as they are all hate trolls. Thank you Jellybean!!

Love the strawberry shortcake! Its sweetness level is just perfect- not too sweet! I finished the whole cake with my husband in one day!!! Don’t listen to these bad reviews targeting a wonderful small business. Price is worth it. ❤️

I ordered my daughter's 100th rice cake and cupcake. It was really cute. And the workers were really nice. Also I really liked that they don't make things too sweet :) I will definitely recommend and order from them again.
