This is my go-to spot for jerk chicken. It serves the best jerk chicken I've tried out of numerous places. The flavor is incredible, and the coleslaw is really sweet, which helps balance the spice perfectly

I only get the fried chicken meal from here. It’s just my favourite dish. The fried chicken is always delicious. Rice is good, coleslaw is fresh and not super sweet. Quick and kind service!

I love the food here but have to give this one star because they refuse to let me use my own take out container. The world is drowning in plastic and I bring my own containers to try to reduce the impact but this place won't let me use them.
To much salt! Food Salty

Jerk king chicken sandwich brought me back to life. Don’t be fooled by this unassuming front of this place, it’s clean and the chicken is excellent, juicy and flavourful. 11/10

Best Jamaican food in the city!!
Flavours incredible,
Jerk chicken well marinated and flavourful,
Fried chicken in the box managed to stay crispy as hell,
Patties are soft and flaky.
Not salty, not dry, and not greasy either.
Huge portions, prices are really reasonable.

This place used to be way better. Every time I go back it seems to get worse, but I think last night will be the last. The meal sucked and I think the slaw was out of date but also felt ill the next day from it.

Service was great it’s just that the jerk chicken wasn’t really good it was ok at best I couldn’t even call it jerk chicken because the way it looked and tasted. It’s a chill place, rice and peas was fire. Coleslaw was great

After having read some good reviews of this place, I stopped by for dinner today. I went for the medium jerk chicken meal with peas and rice. The food did not disappoint, it was flavorful and generous in portion size. It's a take out place so I wasn't expecting a restaurant ambience. I sat and ate there relishing each bite as I watched folks and traffic passing along Bloor Street.
What impressed me the most was the customer service of the lady who served me. Soft spoken, approachable and polite. When I asked her for a small serving of the curried chickpeas to taste, she added a big ladelful to my box at no extra cost. I wasn't expecting that and was pleasantly surprised. The curried chickpeas were good and served me as a palate freshener between mouthfuls of my jerk chicken meal. The reviews were right about the friendly and great customer service by the ladies. I give them 5 stars for that.
Will I eat there again. O yes.
