OMG - the jerk chicken was excellent, but a little oily. Really nice rice too. Service is fast and good.
Get the jerk chicken, BBQ chicken, or fried chicken and enjoy. Delicious, inexpensive, and exceedingly generous. They even let you mix between choices.
For what felt like forever, the sign outside teased of the impending arrival of spicy jerk chicken, but when it finally arrived I….did not go for a long time. And then I did. And I’m sorry waited so long!
A few bullet-points: - Great value! Most items do not go over $15 and the portion sizes put them on par for American expectations of serving. In other words, expect a lot - Service is friendly! It sounds like sarcasm, but treat the employees here with kindness and it’s nothing but the same, back!
The food is Caribbean, so expect a certain degree of spice. Even as someone who doesn’t enjoy too much heat in their food, this is very enjoyable and the flavors come through. It’s not just fire.
Definitely worth the trip! Come by and check it out!
