Place was clean but can’t speak to the food. Ordered take out and I found the man behind the counter rude and unfriendly. I didn’t bother to eat to the food. If you are West Indian you may understand why. Maybe he was having a bad day but I will never go there again.

Unforgettable Caribbean food that's worth the trip!

We initially ordered the oxtail and jerk chicken, and loved them both so much that, even though we were already full, we ordered the jerk pork too. And goodness gracious, I’m so glad we did because I think it was my favourite. Really hard to decide as everything was so delicious. All cooked to perfection and all seasoned flawlessly.

The service was really lovely, everyone was so kind and welcoming, including the other customers. It made the whole experience feel genuinely warm.

We took a road trip from Montreal to Toronto, and when we come to Toronto, a stop for Caribbean food is a must. I’m so glad we chose this spot as it was truly unforgettable. They set the bar high. I honestly can’t wait to return to Toronto just to eat here again.

Lunch special $8.99 jerk chicken crazy. The jek chicken was best I had. I can fully taste smoke BBQ and best thing about it is that sause wasn't too salty. Seasoning was perfect. I'm not jerk chicken expert but I did try multiple and I find lot of places are very salty.

I also tried curry chicken together and flavor depth of the curry is another level. It feels like it's been cooked for days I was very impressed. Spiciness was perfect for me. Compare to jerk chicken it had more seasoning however I absolutely loved it.

Also another great part about this place is that it is super clean! You can see the kitchen from the counter and it's dustless and the washroom was super clean too!

I highly recommend it if you want less salty and seasoned delicious jerk chicken for very reasonable price. Or very well cooked and seasoned curry chicken. I will definitely come back to checkout other foods.

$8.99 for a jerk chicken meal and drink? A whole leg thigh?? In this economy?! Service was very fast. These guys are the best — dishing out fresh, healthy, tasty jerk chicken and oxtail (the meat was falling off the bone🤤). Love supporting local!

let me tell you about my experience, this was my first time in Scarborough and for an event! I wanted to get some jerk chicken and peas and rice and looked at places in the area this one had amazing reviews.
I got there this past Saturday (February 22nd, 2025) and ordered a large jerk chicken with rice and peas…and oxtail gravy ON TOP, and vegetables, and a likkle patty on the side.
First of all,
I paid more than $20 for that, which is crazy to me.
Second of all, I was on my way home and decided to try the patty.. it was STALE, had dried up beef, and the bottom of the pastry itself was burnt! I ate about half of it and had to throw it out because I was nauseous.
As soon as I got home (an hour after I bought it) I opened the container to find that there was barely any oxtail gravy on the rice, the chicken did not even taste like jerk chicken (trust me I’ve had my fair share of Jamaican food!). Anyhow, I put the rest of it in the fridge and proceeded to eat the rest about two hours later BUT I had to throw out half of the rice because the vegetables that were on top spoiled the entire thing and smelt RANCID !
AND I WAS SICK FROM THE FOOD THE NEXT MORNING !

Delicious food, great owner, healthy and authentic. Note that only the pork is boneless currently. Everything is delicious and juicy, high quality food. Their small is a healthy portion for one person. Photo is of small jerk pork meal.

Those patties are SO GOOD! True homemade patties, wow. I loved them!
Their jerk pork is still on point, what a golden place for healthy, flavorful eats.
