Sadly, Jimmys lost the memo and opportunity to support Canada by posting a huge sign advertising Americanos.
I was a regular of this cafe but recently it has lost its lustre. It has become generic.

Friend highly recommended this coffee place but it was just ok.

A quaint coffee spot! Service is great and their oat milk latte is delicious.

The older female staff member was very rude and mean. My friend and I just entered the store and noticed there were no seats available, so we wanted to take a moment to decide if we should order. She directly told us to leave, which was extremely disrespectful. Such behavior is truly disappointing.

The two visibly androgynous women baristas who look like siblings im not sure, as me and my family left (we all got double shot espressos) we heard one of them make a comment saying “these people are so addicted to caffeine.” As the other barista scoffed. we are a black family and I cant help but think this is targeted. I left feeling very sad

Nice lil spot to grab a coffee before hitting up Kensington market. Nothing insane, but I'd say it fueled me up for the walk and that's all I was looking for

Black coffee here comes with a side of sass if you take a sip and decide you don't want it black anymore (usually I have it black hence why I ordered it that way when they asked). First time here, didn't know how it'd taste and was met with such rudeness when I asked for sugar because I didn't tell the cashier that when I ordered. Since they don't have cream and sugar out, changing your mind is against the law at Jimmy's.

Also the loaf I had was dry and my sister's croissant had barely any filling. Overrated place.

The one of the old lady staff is very mean! We wanted use the washroom so we told her that we will buy a drink but she insisted that we line up and pay so that we can use the washroom.
Also there is NO AC super hot and patio don’t have any shade.
I Do not recommend!

Staff was friendly. Tea was good. Lots of indoor seating. Outdoor patio could use additional shade. Water station available.

Great coffee and this location in particular is even more fun than usual with a hipster vibe inside in a gorgeous neighbourhood.

Jimmy's has decent coffee. But every time I go to one everyone working there is extremely slow. There seems to be nonsense of urgency or need to get the line moving.

4 people working and a line of 6+ barely moving.

Extremely unwelcoming atmosphere! As a non-canadian, I was excited to try this place out, unfortunately wont be returning. Multiple condescending comments were made from the staff after simply asking for suggestions on popular drinks.

P.S. You get publicly berated for even thinking about using their unclean bathroom. “ONLY ONE BATHROOM USE PER DRINK”… lol
