Very nice view, great service, the Nachos were awful and we got a tostados as replacement. They were excellent
It's a pretty good place. Pricy and slow service (understaffed not servers fault)
Bridget was super duper amazingly awesomely fantastic service 1000%đŻđŻđŻđŻđŻ
Amazing location, decent service, 10/10 view
But the food was pretty bad. We both got sandwiches (chicken & hamburger) and the buns were super stale. The burger meat was dry and I fed most of it to my dog.
Cocktails were decent.
The location is great, right by the lake. Thatâs the only good thing I can say.
We received uncooked Korean fried chicken. The batter wasnât cooked. The waitress stated this is a common thing. Instead of providing a refund for it, she gave us a friends and family discount of $5. If you donât know how to cook chicken or if this is a common issue you guys are âworking onâ, take it off the menu until you figure it out.
Go for the View, Not the Food or Drinks
If youâre looking for a spot with a lovely view and you want to focus on conversation more than the meal, this place might work for you. But be aware: itâs not especially cozy. The seating area is quite compact, which can feel cramped rather than intimate.
Service was underwhelming. We waited around 20 minutes before anyone took our order, though servers passed by frequentlyâoften bumping into our chairs but not stopping to help.
As for the food, we tried the fried chicken. Unfortunately, it seemed like they dipped boiled chicken in batter and fried it quickly. The coating slid off on touch, leaving sticky oil behind. It was unappetizing and poorly executed.
For drinks, we ordered their version of a Long Island Iced Teaâcleverly branded as âToronto Island Tea.â Nice marketing, but the cocktail itself was not enjoyable and felt closer to a novelty than a well-crafted drink.
Overall, I wouldnât return. That said, taste and atmosphere preferences are personalâso you might still enjoy it if you prioritize the view over dining quality. Take your callâand if this review saves you time and money, feel free to thank me later.
The service was amazing. The day was crazy I even saw a table next to me yelling at the server. She walked away and they continued to yell at her? She handled it with grace and was so pleasant to our table afterwards. I donât know how she did it but I will be back! Great job Joe Bird!
Disappointing Experience â Unfriendly Staff
My recent visit to this restaurant was very disappointing. The staff were not friendly, one of the servers even walked away in the middle of our conversation because we asked to change our table.
Unfortunately, this place completely missed the mark. I wonât be returning, and I wouldnât recommend it.
Unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience here. The staff were not friendly at all. I was in the middle of speaking to one of them, and they just walked away. It felt rude and unprofessional. I donât usually leave reviews, but basic courtesy should be standard in any customer service setting. I wonât be coming back.
Fried chicken sandwich is pretty bland considering it's the specialty. The spicy is not spicy at all. Brussel sprouts were good though and sitting in the patio is nice.

The host is not communicating well
The server literally said something ridiculous to our face, you are just paying $40 why you are making a big deal out of it

I had a steak sandwich yesterday around 7pm and got food poison, that was the only thing I ate since yesterday. My friend is feeling bad too, he had a Diablo sandwich. We found a hair in the food. You should be more careful when making the food

Came here for the waterfront views and wings. Given the proximity to the Island Airport it was very loud. I ordered wings with house spice and sweet potato fries. For a place with "bird" in their name, I was very disappointed by their wings, especially since they charged $19 for just wings. The wings themselves were low in quality (blood had clearly seeped into the muscles and made the meat dark and not tasty), the house spice was not flavourful, and the blue cheese sauce it comes with was not my favorite. The sweet potato fries were better than the wings, but were too salty, you can see the salt crust. Service and the view were the only good parts.
