Very tall ceilings.Lunch time waitress was miserable and not helpful - completely ignored our questions on the wine varieties.Food is average for this type of restaurants and prices.Billing machine listed an expensive tip as default.So - we gave up, paid for the expensive meal, and left.

I had a reservation here 2 weeks ago to celebrate my birthday. It was only me and my boyfriend and it was veryyyy full. I know it isn’t the staffs fault and they handle the waitlist fine until we’ve already been waiting for 2hrs already and all I see was they were letting others to sit when they know we were there before them but I was still nice going to the front desk to ask if we already have a table but all they say was they couldn’t do something about it. I keep on going back and forth in the front like 10x or more bc I saw a couple of empty seats but they still don’t let us sit

We went to Joey’s at Don mills to celebrate our 10-year anniversary. We had our first date here and thought it was fitting to come back. We were disappointed to say the least. We had reservations booked for 7:15, but had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. We were not offered to grab a drink while we wait/given any communication on how long the wait will be. While waiting there was an older couple beside us, who had to keep going up to the host stand to ask about wait times. Some communication would have been helpful. Service was slow, but it was a busy night. We ordered the salmon sushi and sliders for apps, but we got the wrong sliders. The sliders had no sauce or cheese and when we mentioned it to our server, they brought the correct one later, but it was hard and dry because it was sitting under the heat lamps. Our dinner was okay, but again very slow service. We finished our drinks, but no one came to our table, so that we could order another one. We did not get offered desserts/coffee.

I waited an hour to be seated. The food was very lacklustre. The service was unprofessional. The atmosphere was loud and obnoxious. I don’t recommend visiting Joey Don Mills at all to anyone, because the food is overpriced and tasteless and when I complained to the manager, she told me, “It is what it is!”. Save yourself the trip and go somewhere else.
