It was mango flavor topped with a couple of pomegranate seeds. It had a nice sweet bitter profile.

I rarely leave a restaurant upset, but I did this one. The events are as follows. I went here for dinner with a friend, and she had trouble deciding what she wanted to order. At first she ordered two dishes, and then changed her mind and settled on ordering one other dish and cancelling the other two dishes. The waitress, a very sweet young woman, misunderstood, and ordered all three dishes. When the first dish came my friend explained her order once again, and the server took back the dish she had cancelled and cancelled the other one, and eventually brought the third dish, the one my friend actually ordered. My friend was extremely apologetic about the misunderstanding, as was the server. But the guys in the back weren't so generous about it. I couldn't see the kitchen but my friend could, and when we left she told me that the guys in the back--presumably the owner and the chef--were coming down on her really hard.
That's not acceptable. Misunderstandings happen all the time, and there is no justification in ganging up on a young female server for an honest mistake. Besides, the two guys ended up eating the dish that my friend had cancelled, so I fail to understand why they felt the need to express anger toward a young woman.
I would definitely think twice about returning to a place in which the kitchen staff bully a young server. It's not right.

Johnny G's Cafe is an absolute gem! I recently had the pleasure of enjoying their 5-star breakfast, and it was nothing short of delightful and delicious 😋.
This establishment was warm and inviting and the lady who served me was very friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. Now, let's talk about the food! The 5 star 🌟 breakfast was delicious. Perfectly cooked eggs—. Paired with their Peameal bacon and sausages and rye bread. it was a breakfast lover's dream. A tall glass of orange juice was complementing the meal perfectly.
What truly sets Johnny G's apart is they are one of the oldest restaurants in cabbage town and they have a big commitment to quality ingredients and attention to detail. Every bite was a testament to their passion for great food. If you're in the area of Parliament and Carlton, I highly recommend stopping by for breakfast. You won't be disappointed!

Had breakfast here and also tried their Indian food honestly the best food I’ve had on Parliament St! The quality was outstanding, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The place has such a cool retro vintage vibe, and the touch of jazz music in the background makes the atmosphere even better. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for amazing food and a unique experience.

Had a lovely Hakka meal today. Had curry prawns, noodles and pot stickers with a good amber ale. Recommend the daytime lunch and breakfast menu too. They make the best club sandwich around and their after meal bowl of fresh fruit is a great lunch ender

Walked off the longest Red Eye of my life and made my way to the nearest Cafe I could find , What a surprisingly pleasant cafe. I have to say it’s SUPER cute. Love the flowers , the vibe is very calming , exactly what i needed . Coffee is coffee, and the coffee is very satisfactory as far as coffee goes ; nice and Black . The menus Items looks fantastic . The Veggie Breakfast? It was not terrible , scrambled eggs were a little under cooked and on the runny side , the avocado was a tad under ripen ( you can’t eat them if their still hard) , and the sautéed veggies could go a little easy on the oil. But otherwise everything still tasted great, I was very pleased with the service . They even gave me a wonderful fruit Salad on the house ! I’ll be sure to pop in again while i’m in town !
