I really enjoy Ethiopian food and came across this restaurant when in Toronto. Really enjoyed the vegetarian platter; the vegetables and lentils were fresh and delicious. I'll come again.

In the middle of errands, I just needed to stop somewhere and recharge. My visit was completely random and I am delighted that it was so comfortable. I am not very familiar with Ethiopian cuisine, as I have only had it a couple of times, so I opted for a cocktail, a steak sandwich and fries. Everything was hot and delicious, the fries were really crispy too. The service was very friendly, which is greatly appreciated by the solo diner! Once I had ordered, I studied the menu more closely. It contained a very helpful glossary of ingredients as well as a detailed explanation of each dish. These were very appealing! I will go back when I am not in such a rush to try something new, as I am sure it too will be delicious. With the convivial atmosphere of the aptly named Jolly, it will again be enjoyable! Thank you!

Came here to watch a Jays game. Owner was very friendly and tried his best to accommodate everyone that was coming in. Servers were friendly and despite the busy night, service wasn't too bad. They had a lot of big screen TVs so no matter where you sit in the room, you could watch the game and also they had the sound on very clearly. The only downside is that it being more of a restaurant and a smaller bar is they didn't have any ciders or sour beers which I get is more niche. But they did have the range of cocktails that you would get from a bar. Definitely would come back here.
