This is my first time leaving a review. I visited around lunchtime on January 30. The food was decent and the server was very kind. I was enjoying my meal and feeling good about the experience at first, but I am writing this review because of a very unpleasant situation.
Although I could not understand the language, I heard a middle aged woman yelling loudly and aggressively. It did not sound like an argument. It sounded one sided, with her shouting at someone. It was shocking and uncomfortable. I have worked in hospitality for many years, but I have never experienced someone shouting so loudly from the kitchen that it disrupted the entire restaurant.
Since I could not understand what was being said, I do not know the exact situation. However, regardless of the circumstances, no one should be working in an environment where someone is being yelled at like that. I do not want to support a business that allows this kind of toxic workplace. I believe the management team needs to seriously address and improve what appears to be an abusive working environment.

We have been visiting JP sushi ever since they opened and are still so impressed by their kind, quick service; their great deals (love the 2 dragon roll combo), and tasty food that never disappoints. Love the neighbourhood feel of the restaurant and the personal and friendly service they bestow on all customers, as well as all the delivery people. Thanks JP sushi for your amazing efforts and food.

Highly recommend! Went in 5 mins before closing for a takeaway. Asked them before entering if its okay and they were nice about it. Prices were really good, a promotion was going on and we spent only around $30 on 24 pieces. We got our food in 2 mins and left the restaurant before closing time.

Great service, great sushi! Their lunch walk in specials are such a good deal. I haven't eaten in but the staff are polite and friendly and I've never had a abd experience ordering or with takeout

Reliable, efficient, and tasty local sushi shop. We have taken out dinners about twice a month from JP since they opened about a decade ago. Salmon is definitely their best fish. Combo orders are well designed. Wonderful to have them in the neighborhood. Interior space has improved in recent years. They now serve beer, wine, and sake, but the space remains small so suitable for just a few people to dine in. Quick and convenient for take out instead.

Really disappointed in the service tonight. My daughter (teenager) ordered take out for the family. The bill was not cheap and she tipped 15% on top of the bill. She waited 50 minutes! While doordash and other delivery repeatedly picked up orders. Not an acceptable wait time for a take out order. To top it all off when she arrived home there was not a chopstick or packet of soy sauce to be found. We had no soy sauce at home. Completely regret we included such a sizeable tip. Not worth the money.
