My husband and I have always enjoyed J's Steak Frites. There is something truly special about a perfectly prepared steak and the most delicious, unlimited pommes frites this side of the Atlantic. The ambiance at J's, has always been warm and quaint. Celeste is impeccable; a seasoned professional with her eye on providing excellent customer service. Restaurant was a little chilly (i think i was sitting right under the vent though), was worried steak would get cold quickly, they serve with little candle light to have silver plate stay warmed (wasnt really keeping the temperature of the steak tho). Steak was cooked perfectly, was little dry for me and little too much of smoky/burnt taste. Fries were very nicely cooked, sauce with steak was absolutely amazing and greatly paired with steak. Service was impeccable. Food was great, and the all-you-can-drink wine for $45.00 was superb. Highly recommended place for dining. Front of house was so accommodating when our reservation through opentable did not save on their system. They happily made room for us.
