Ordered the French onion soup, bread and butter and the 24 oz steak for 2.
Soup was too light not much flavour. Bread and butter was average.
The 24oz steak came with fries and a salad. Beautifully plated! Taste was decent -nothing mind blowing, the cook was a nice medium. I do believe that this could be made at home. Was expecting a lot more in terms of flavour given the hype. HOWEVER I think this is really great value for $60 but wouldn’t pay outside of their Tuesday special.

Honestly we came to this restaurant because it was really next to our Airbnb but we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the service. We’re French and we must say that the place has nothing to envy to lots of Parisien bistros. The food was perfectly seasoned and the quantity great. We particularly appreciated the quality of the French fries and how the meat was cooked. At some point due to an interruption of the normal process in the kitchen the food was a bit late and the waitress came to us to explain the situation and apologise for the delay. To be honest, one of the best services I’ve ever seen (and I used to work in restaurants). I highly recommend

Their Cote De Boeuf is always exceptional each time I order and their dirty martinis ALWAYS hits the spot. We’ve heard it’s not always this calm, so we may have lucked out! Service was friendly and attentive, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Portions are generous, so I’d suggest sharing starters. The octopus was perfectly cooked, and our friends raved about their escargot with bone marrow. I’d definitely recommend this spot, but just come hungry, as lighter options are not always available. They do have loads of specials outside of the menu. A perfect Sunday dinner.
Such a cute little restaurant, I love the vibe and their little decorations. Staff are very friendly, atmosphere is amazing, food is fantastic! Definitely a must come back to! We ordered the 24oz steak, they placed the fries in the bottom, they absorbed the fat from the steak and so yummy and still crispy! The steak itself was cooked perfectly to medium rare as how we ordered, tender and juicy, fat to the right perfect amount, such an enjoyable experience!

Cute and cozy French bistro on Queen St East. We ordered their Côte de Boeuf for 2 which came with fries and salad. Since we came on a Tuesday night, we were able to get it for half the price. We also ordered extra side fries and for dessert we ordered Crème Brûlée and their Tartes du Jour (the blueberry one). Everything we ordered was tasty and well presented. They serve skinny fries here and the extra side fries that we ordered were definitely less soggy and warmer than the ones served with the Côte de Boeuf. Service here is on point. The staff are both friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself is fairly small so make reservations in advance to secure a spot. It got busy towards the end of our meal and due to the lack of seating space inside, we felt a bit rushed towards the end to settle the bill and free up our table. Aside from this, we overall had a nice experience.
