I will always support Jumbo. They are fantastic and love their humitas. They are a staple to Kensington and will always recommend them
The corn pie is great 👍
A low key restaurant that serves authentic food. We had vegetarian and cheese empanadas, along with humita. The vegetable empanadas were very fresh tasting and were a refreshing complement to the cheese empanadas, which were delicious as well. I had the humita for the first time and really liked the flavour.
Place has gone down to not recommendable!!
Authentic Argentinian empanadas.
First time eating here in about 10 years. Was excited to eat here on my TO visit. It was OK, not as good as I remember. It really is the price $10 for the experience....

Yummy beef emanadas. The bathrooms are so clean. Appreciate that they take time to make sure they are clean and fresh.

The most delicious empanadas, paired with Inka Cola!!! Thank you, Chopsticks and Forks, for taking us there. William was an amazing host.

The menu was available for take out only when we visited. Since my friend was vegetarian, we decided on the vegetable empanada and humita. Both were too light on flavor. Despite being made of ground corn, the humita did not taste enough of the star ingredient (if I'm being generous, some of that could be because I'm used to the flavorful sweetness of Jersey corn, a characteristic that wasn't present in this item). The empanada was hefty and the dough was tasty, but the filling, made mostly of spinach leaves and sliced mushrooms) left a lot to be desired. The spinach inside released quite a bit of liquid that quickly made the dough soggy. Both the leaves and the mushrooms could've used more cooking and seasoning before being wrapped in dough and baked. The vinegary tomato salsa served on the side helped to brighten up the empanada just a little. I'd come back to try the beef empanada since I imagine that one would be richer in flavor.

Good spot in Kensington market, especially if you're looking to do a food-run. Extremely filling empanada: definitely worth the money! Beef empanada is a must-try.

Compared to the empanadas I’ve had in Chile, these are pretty good, I’d rate them (by comparison) a 7/10. They need to figure out how to reheat these properly though. Middle of the beef wasn’t hot but the pastry was very. Worth trying but judging by the review pictures I also think they are raising their prices too often.
