Happy with the atmosphere!

One of the best pizzas in DT Toronto for sure! It never disappoints. The atmosphere is always nice, owners are very welcoming. It’s also a very cozy bar for a late night cap. Their patio in the summer is one of our favorite hang out spots. Totally recommend!

I had Mom's steak staganuff and all I can say, it was awesome.

I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza and it was absolutely delicious. The dough they use and how they bake it is perfect!
Felt bad for the lady working the restaurant as she was working the bar and taking everyone’s orders, also running out all the food… alone. I wish I had caught her name as she did absolutely amazing for what she was able to do, no the service wasn’t perfect as there was only one staff and a bunch of customers. (For reference this was a Thursday night at 6pm)

While the food was OK - but overly priced. I truly think the servers here would benefit from a course in customer service.

Really nice service. Very polite. I didn't notice the long service but they were very nice and had given my group and slice of cake. Pizza was really good, aswell as the cake.

JZ’s in Toronto might not look the most appealing from the outside, as it is a little unclear at first glance whether it is a bar, a restaurant, or somewhere in between. Despite that first impression, we decided to go in for food and were pleasantly surprised by what we found. The menu is fairly basic, but the dishes offered good value and were actually quite tasty. We started with a Caprese salad, although in my personal opinion it did not feel like a true Caprese since it contained cucumbers and onions, which took away from the traditional style. That being said, the veggie pizza we ordered afterwards was really enjoyable. It was simple, but effective, with fresh toppings and a nice flavor that made it satisfying without being heavy. Overall, JZ’s is not the kind of place where you would expect anything fancy or high-end, but it delivers straightforward, decent food at a fair price. It is a casual and easy spot if you just want a quick meal without too much fuss, and for that reason it works well.

Great Pizza. Wife had amazing pasta as well. Beer and pop were ice cold. You order via cellphone and QR code menu, so you order when ready. Every of our four meals were hot and fresh.
