I came across this Afghan Restaurant one evening that looked appealing and somewhat presentable about an hour before their closing time, and I wanted a shawarma wrap but unfortunately the employee who was working told me they ran out of chicken, so the employee recommended a beef wrap and I simply told the employee I don’t eat beef so then he recommended a tandoori chicken wrap, and I said ok … thinking to myself, he just told me they ran out chicken, I just disregarded it. So I was told it would only take 10 mins I pre paid , and then I waited outside to get some fresh air and I came back in just over 10 minutes, then I waited another 20 minutes, but as I was patient waiting I decide to purchase a bottle of water, then the employee randomly had the nerve to tell me if I can turn off the switch on the open and close sign like I work there with him… I looked at him confused and then I simply told him that “I don’t work here, that is your job” then he gave me a smug look and said oh sorry and then complained that the chicken tandoori wrap would not taste that good because we are closing now… so I respectfully grabbed my food and went home and after eating the chicken tandoori wrap was poorly cooked i started to feel sick to stomach, feeling some unusual mild sharp pain about 30 mins after eating… the chicken was not cooked properly and was made poorly, and that also explains his lack of work ethic handling food which is a big concern in my opinion. if your consuming something your paying for it should be edible and cooked properly at the very least. I’ve had cheaper quality chicken wraps that was way more satisfying than what I had. Moral of the story you don’t have to be enthusiastic about your job but you definitely have to cook the chicken properly, that’s mandatory or else people will be getting sick from salmonella poisoning due to the employee’s lack of work ethic and cooking.

I ordered the chicken shawarma wrap. I've had a lot of shawarma in my life. This one was one of the lowest I would rate. The chicken was just reheated on the grill and not cut directly from the rack. The topping just tasted like soft pickles that have been sitting around. It was excessively drenched in watery sauce. The pita bread had been heated in the microwave. And the worst part was it was not tightly wrapped. It felt like I was eating a chicken salad sandwich with a ton of mayo, not a wrap. Good thing I paid the $5 Monday special instead of full price. I guess the price reflects the quality. I ate about 1/4 of it before throwing it out. I usually don't waste food but this wrap was well below my expectations.

I think the phones and clocks are for show only. Never has food ready in estimated time waited almost 45 mins for a TO GO order. Plus they never answer the phone but when you go into the restaurant there’s no one even there.

This food is so delicious! When the food entered my mouth, my mouth began to water from the greatness. 10/10 service and 10/10 food! Definently coming here again.

If you’re headed to this place expecting Afghan food… this place isn’t it. Kabob options are limited which defeats the restaurant name. This is more of a burger/shawarma joint. Don’t get me wrong - that may work for this place but but may be misleading.

Sauce based that drives the flavour, portions are small, half of their minimal kabob options in their menu weren’t available and the bread lol … frozen naan somehow warmed.

cook went home before closing time.
We got in at 11:00 pm and we were starving just to realise that the cook went home and we couldn’t eat.

Very kind and food was good. Didnt have to wait long. And its nice and quiet.

The pita in the shawarma ripped a bit as they were making it, but he offered to make me a whole new one. Wasnt necessary, but very kind of him to offer and there were no issues eating it.

Not so great. No dressing on the salad, and very small amount. Kebab pretty dried out but had potential. One star because we literally heard the manager say the salad looked bad and the other employee packed it and gave it to us anyways.

I was a bit nervous since the restaurant was empty when I showed up. I waited maybe 10 mins for my beef kebab/rice/salad combo.
It was cooked to order and well worth the wait.
Everything was super tasty and large portions.
Staff was also extremely friendly and helpful.
Glad I finally stopped in!

The food was very good, it wasn't as spicy as I hoped but still very well flavoured. I also really liked the decor and atmosphere, it's a very comfortable restaurant that makes you feel at ease.

The food is fine but service is ridiculously slow. If someone walks in during lunch on a work day, you should at least let them know it's going to take 25 minutes to make them a couple wraps. And when you get around to making them (one at a time for some reason?), don't assume the customer wants to the same garnishes on both.
