This place has the best quality salmon on the Roncesvalles strip. Never disappoints. Also, the owners and servers are incredibly warm and welcoming every time.

Nigiri sushi (tempura lunch bento) had two raw fish pieces and two fake crab pieces (pollock)., which is kind of chintzy. Tempura shrimp was loaded with a ton of heavy batter which was not, in my opinion, very good. Sashimi lunch bento was tasty and reasonably priced.

I had the absolute pleasure of sitting down for a late afternoon lunch at Kami sushi! Sunny was delightful, respectful and very engaging to talk to. I had the lunch special 13 and i was very surprised but expected nothing less with the quality, freshness and presentation of my meal. The butterfish was soft and delicate, the tuna was tasty and the salmon was some of the freshest salmon I’ve ever had. In a world where restaurants are copy and paste from one another, Kami sushi separates themselves from the pack by making your experience special from the top down. I will be back and I can’t wait!
We had a sushi sashimi combo platter, seaweed salad, al la carte bbq eel and butter fish. All outstanding.
