Tried this place on a whim after we had a craving for Italian food and were not disappointed!
The standouts are the sake rose (creamy, umami) and the bo kho bolognese (great pairing of Vietnamese beef with the tomato sauce). The duck breast green curry’s flavours worked well together, but I think it should have double the amount of meat for the dish.
The orders didn’t take long to make, about 10-15 minutes from time of ordering from the touch display.
Will likely be back when another craving hits!

I had high hopes for this Asian pasta spot, but my experience was a bit underwhelming. I ordered the shrimp pasta, which only came with 4 pieces of shrimp — pretty small portions considering the price. While the flavors were decent, it wasn’t as impressive as advertised. On the bright side, the service was excellent, and the staff were friendly and attentive. They do have some appealing daily offers, which is nice, but the portion sizes left me wanting more. Overall, an okay experience, but not sure I’d rush back.

Cute lil Asian fusion pasta place, the food was actually really good and I was left licking the takeout container that it came in to the last drop of sauce.
I had the garlic yuzu shrimp pasta and my partner had the butter gochujang pasta without the smoked bacon. Both were great choices but I liked hers more. My shrimp unfortunately still had the tail attached and I would've preferred it off instead. I also had 4 pieces of shrimp which feels like too little for $18!
What it lacked in the pasta it more than made up in the mango and blackberry sodas (both were great), and the Hong Kong milk tea ice cream. All of these were 5 stars.
Another drawback of the spot is how there's no public bathroom, which feels frankly medieval - they should let the public use their bathroom.

Top ice cream shop in Toronto with eloquent fusion flavours like Durian, HK milk tea, Jasmine tea, and more!

Their pasta is perfection, the sake rose and butter gochujang flavours is totally something we’d recommend. Ever since eating here we are always craving for their food and are dying to try more of their menu.
Unfortunately, they were sold out of their tiramisu but we will definitely try to get it next time. It must be really popular! It seems like it used to be an ice cream place, I think from what I remember they might still sell some ice cream.
Did take out because we are close by but there are picnic tables outside/on the large side walk to eat on. There is some street parking as well.

Highly recommend the sake pasta. It tasted similar to my favourite vodka pasta. The portion size was good, the pasta was perfectly al dente. The green curry pasta was delicious as well but I preferred the tomato based sauce, it just went better with the rigatoni.

Such good and unique flavours! We got the butter gochujang and it was unexpectedly flavourful and filling, from the mushrooms to the seaweed, which enhanced the overall taste profile so subtly. The service was quick and very kind despite us coming in less than an hour before closing. Would definitely come here again to try their other asian-fusion dishes!
Incredibly disappointing food considering I love kekou, not sure if moon pasta is affiliated or a pop up within. Either way this tarnishes the kekou name for me a bit
Got the butter gojuchang, one of the recommended dishes. Pasta was severely undercooked (cardinal sin for pasta) and sauce was watery (save your pasta water…)
All the dishes sound exotic and interesting mishmashes but the execution of the dish o had could not have been any worse. Only positive was the portion size.

Kekou Gelato is a North York gem that serves up delicious Asian-inspired gelato and milk tea. Their gelato flavours are rich, unique, and absolutely delicious. Each flavour is a perfect blend of Asian-inspired ingredients that taste exactly like their names. What really sets Kekou Gelato’s gelato apart is its silky smooth creamy texture and perfect density.
One of my favourite combinations is the Rosewater Pistachio and Earl Grey flavours. The floral and piney flavour of the Rosewater Pistachio pairs perfectly with the Earl Grey tea bergamot flavour, creating a balance of sweetness that is absolutely heavenly.
Kekou Gelato’s atmosphere is a quick grab-and-go. They are also very mindful of the Covid-19 pandemic and offer a self-serve kiosk to pay which is completely contactless and safe for customers. You simply enter your order information, and your name, make your payment, and then wait outside until they call your name for your order. I found this very cute and personal, as it makes you feel valued as a customer.
While Kekou Gelato’s gelato is definitely the star of the show, their milk tea is also worth trying. They craft their milk tea with select loose-leaf teas and all of their bases and syrups are made from scratch.
The staff at Kekou Gelato are always friendly and welcoming. They are happy to offer recommendations and let you try a few flavours before you make your final decision.
Overall, Kekou Gelato is a must-visit for anyone in the North York area who is looking for authentic Asian-inspired gelato and bubble tea. With their commitment to quality ingredients and excellent customer service, it’s no wonder that they have become a favourite among locals. I will definitely be returning to try their other creative flavours.
Unfortunately, it should be noted that Kekou Gelato is typically closed in the winter season. So if you’re planning to visit during the colder months, you may want to check their website or social media pages for updates on when they will be reopening. Nonetheless, Kekou Gelato is definitely worth the visit during the warmer months for its unique and delicious Asian-inspired gelato and milk tea offerings.

I came here to have ice cream scoops, but currently, they only sell ice cream bars and pints. Both the Vietnamese coffee and Hong Kong milk tea were delicious.

Please bring back the gelato :(((((((
The Sake Rose pasta wasn't bad, especially for the price point, you get your money's worth. However it felt like too much of the same flavour and the salted egg yolk made the pasta too heavy and overbearing after a while. I had to keep taking breaks in order to finish it lol. But, if you shared this with a friend then I think that would be perfect, and then you could try two pastas together. Also, if you used to go to kekou here, your points still accumulate :)
