The service attitude of the man in white clothes with a low ponytail was very bad. As soon as we entered the door, we were directly opposite their front desk. At first, we said hello, but no one ignored us without a response. I thought I didn't hear it. I called again, but they were directly opposite us at that time, but we pretended to be busy. Our appearance. Two foreigners came behind. The woman in white and with a low ponytail was very active and happy to serve them. At that moment, I was a little doubtful whether she was racist. Then when it came to us, she had a very bad attitude, and she didn't have a smile like the two people in front of her. After checking out, I was sure of my suspicion that she was racist. I want to say that if you are racist, you are also a yellow person, and you can't change the fact that you are a yellow person. I'm very angry. I will avoid this store forever! The service attitude is very bad! And it is also racial discrimination!!

My recent experience at this taiyaki stand in Pat Central was extremely disappointing due to the clerk’s rude and biased behavior. We stood at the counter and greeted the clerk twice; she was busy with tasks right in front of us but deliberately avoided making eye contact and didn’t respond at all. Moments later, two white patrons arrived, and she immediately dropped what she was doing, approached them with a cheerful demeanor, and attended to their order promptly. When we finally got to place our order, her whole attitude shifted—she was short-tempered and unhelpful. Discrimination has no place in customer service, and this kind of treatment left a terrible impression. Save your time and skip this stand.

Welcoming, social, caring, friendly, the whole building is full of warm smiles, fresh products and clean store. The taiyaki 's are so good to me, I want more but live so far away from them.

They don’t make the dough like they use to. Cash or e-transfer payment only. I was in a rush and it was inconvenient to have to add this business as a contact and send the e-transfer payment, owner should be more considerate of customer experience instead of cut costs

Stopped by Kevin’s Taiyaki, a little hole-in-the-wall spot inside a market and a fun place to try a unique treat.
🧆 Food:
I had the custard taiyaki, and my friends tried one for the first time as well. Everything was solid — sweet, warm, and perfectly baked.
👥 Service:
The cashier was really sweet and accommodating, even accepting USD, which made the visit easy and friendly.
🎨 Aesthetic:
It’s a simple stand that focuses on one item, keeping the experience straightforward and centered on the taiyaki itself.

10/10.
So good.
Highly recommend.
I'm from Korea and I have been craving for legit Korean Boong-eo-bbang for so long. At Kevin's, they have by far the closest one to what you can get in Korea.
Have some cash in case they don't take cards.
The custard is AMAZING
They had the best one in Toronto since the beginning of time. We've tried so many different places & always come back to this location. We just got two custard filled few mins ago & excited to eat, but they were really thin like there is no filling. Sure enough, hardly any fillings inside which make the bread just crunch & dry.
It is supposed to be slightly crunch outside & moist inside with lots( decent) of filling.
It looks to be a new person working with ack of proper training of how to make it proper. This should be corrected soon, because it is not worth the price now. Please retrain & do not ruin people's experience.

Just had the crispiest, most perfect Taiyaki ever — golden outside, sweet and gooey inside.
Shoutout to the guy behind the magic, working that grill like a pro!
This bungeoppang tastes even better than the ones I used to have in Korea. I know I’m going to miss it so much when I go back.
This shop has always been one of my favorites. I visit Christie every time, I make a point to stop by and buy 5 to 10 pieces.
However, during my recent visit around 7:20 PM, I had a very disappointing experience. The staff informed me that the store closes at 8 PM and that I could only purchase what was left. I asked if they could put the remaining 10 pieces into a box, but they said it wasn’t possible since they would have to remove and repack them individually.
I then asked if they could at least put them in a bag, but I was told there were no bags available. In the end, I was told I’d have to carry the individually packed pastries as they were. Throughout the conversation, the staff kept repeating that they were closing soon, and I felt there was a clear lack of basic customer service and courtesy.
It was especially disappointing because I’ve always had such a fond opinion of this shop. I hope more attention will be given to customer service in the future.
Hidden gem 💎 in Toronto. Custard 🍮 golden fish is the best street in Toronto.
Always a perfect little treat
My absolute favorite Taiyaki! The custard filling is my favorite! The waffle is super soft and fluffy and sweet, crispy on the outside. The filling is soft and hot and delicious! 🤤😋
I usually buy a box when I stop by and freeze and re-heat them to make them last for a few days! But they're the best eaten fresh!
I love that you can watch them make the Taiyaki through the window, so you know it's fresh! ❤️
There's sometimes a line, and the area is small to receive so you have to be quick about getting out of the way as to not block traffic through the doorways.
