Incredible sushi and all round Japanese cuisine and did i say sushi? A real neighborhood gem, this Japanese restaurant is conveniently in the Rosedale/ Summerhill area, quietly tucked away just off Yonge St. and offers a wide variety of signature sushi, sashimi, and teppanyaki. Their sushi hand rolls are to die for and my absolute weakness. You can dine in, take away and of course have quickly delivered to your front door, fulfilling those late night sushi cravings. Thanks Kibo! 😀

I have absolutely zero words for Kibo. We have tried MULTIPLE sushi spots across the city, and outside of it, but we always keep coming back to Kibo. We always come to this location for dining in, however we have been to multiple locations for uber eats or take out, and they are all beyond amazing. The menu is massive, with many vegetarian options which I like. There hasn't been a single bad experience with Kibo. I absolutely love this place. The ambience and service of this specific location is unmatched, I don't know the waitress' name but I know she loves Ariana Grande's music, and just wanna say she was super kind and sweet!

We love Kibo! The food and the ambiance is so good. We live in the neighbourhood and this is our go to place after work. Unfortunately we finished work at around 8:00 pm. Since Google says you guys are open until 9:30pm we always come happy to eat here. In a month we easily come at least 6 times or more!

However, the server today was not happy to see us lol. We ordered at 8:30pm. One hour before the closing time which you think might be enough time. Well no…

It is not the first time. It’s always her. I just hope you know who I am talking about. There’s another woman and honestly she’s lovely.

Hope you can improve that experience. For me as a regular it just feels disrespectful.

I had a very disappointing experience at Kibo Sushi. The staff’s behavior was rude and unprofessional, and I felt disrespected during my visit. As a paying customer, I expected at least basic courtesy, but instead, I was treated in a way that felt insulting and unwelcoming. I believe every customer deserves to be treated with dignity, regardless of who they are. I hope the management takes this seriously and works on improving their customer service, because no one should leave a restaurant feeling humiliated.

This is the second time I got take out and they didn’t include chop sticks. I’m stuck with no utensils to eat my food but I didn’t think I had to beg for chopsticks for a take out order.

*1/5 Stars - Disappointing Experience*

Sushi roll was ridiculously small for the price. Clearly a victim of shrinkflation without the courtesy of a price drop. Not worth the money.
Other KIBO locations have larger rolls for the same price. I will not be coming back to this location

Lawd this was bad…. Like super bad. Man…. It was bad. I felt awful for the one person who they had serving who wasn’t just serving tables but all of the take out people who came in. Well shrink flation was obvious when we received the Shrimp tempura. Each piece was cut into quarters leaving the tail on to seem as though it was a full shrimp (picture included). It was sad. The tuna tartare was a salad with tiny bits of tuna on top. When we complained about the tempura the waitress offered to give us some shrimp dumplings on the house instead which we accepted. Unfortunately they came out frozen in the middle. There is no “steaming” here folks. I could see them being microwaved and brought back to us which we refused. Listen, the service was awful but not because the young woman was awful but she was set up to fail in this environment. The whole place is garbage and should be just shut down. Just deplorable.

Dumplings were microwaved! Unacceptable as a bit frozen inside. Shrimp tempura were less than a half a shrimp cut lengthwise so tons of batter to make up for that. Service very slow though perhaps not the fault off the lone server responsible for tables and takeout.
