Always my go-to. Fresh fish, generous portions, and consistently great quality. The salmon upgrades are absolutely worth it.

Maki, Sushi & Sashimi A combo with a +$1 upgrade for salmon-only sashimi and a +$1 upgrade for the spicy salmon roll, and it was phenomenal.

Great quality sushi and fast service!
I got one of their combos and the salad & miso soup were some of the best I've had ☺️

Food: I fasted all day before I ate their food. What immediately followed was explosive you-know-what. Same thing with my spouse.

Service: it's fine, guy seemed to genuinely care that I got my food late. Staff is overworked with high turnover.

Atmosphere: Never eat in unless you want to sit next to an Uber eats packing station. Place is a food delivery madhouse.

Lots of options here, walking distance to my work. Prices are fair and food is fresh.

Love Kibo. I have been eating here for years now and I am obsessed with the Premium Salmon Lover dish. I always order from Uber Eats, but it comes fresh and looks great too. Also, I've ordered from other locations and this location you really get you money's worth. I ordered from the Keele location on Monday and the sashimi was SO thin, however, the sashimi from this location is 2-3x as thick (and it's the same price). Kibo is definitely better than a lot of other chains I've tried.

Sushi restaurant that has a small seating area attached to a small market where you can buy takeout food or buy snacks.

The food was served promptly. Service was fast and friendly without being overbearing. The food was delicious. Would go back again.

I am deeply saddened to express this but they have been extremely saddened with the food preparation. Despite of good food they are making it very delayed.

My daughter ordered dinner for take out last Sunday, Nov. 16 from this branch of Kibo (at Bloor). The order was not complete, missing a couple of important items : the ginger and the wasabi. So the dinner (a couple of sushi platters plus teriyaki dinners and others) was a bit disappointing. Order number ef638783.

The to-go options are wonderful, but I do not recommend eating here unless it’s specifically for sushi. The other items are quite bland in taste (I tried the bento box and udon noodles). It’s nothing special and not worth the price.

We used to come here almost every weekend during last year’s winter. Unfortunately, something changed starting from the summer until now: the ingredients don’t feel as fresh as before. The fish in the rolls and the beef in the udon just don’t taste good anymore.

We hoped things would improve and gave it a couple more tries, but nothing changed.

Now we’re looking for a new sushi spot.

I was really surprised by the volume of takeout they were preparing while we had dinner (4 adults 1 baby) because the service was awesome. The food was really good, the server was really attentive and warm. The dishes looked even better than their photos
