There are many fine sushi restaurants in the GTA and Kibo is a franchise chain, but it consistently delivers. Temper expectations to good sushi and maki at reasonable prices and it is worthy of a pretty solid review. Does it stand up to singular and dedicated sushi chefs? There is a reason why we have so many Michelin-rated Japanese and sushi restaurants locally. So Kibo isn’t competing with those … but it’s still good.

Absolutely DEVOURED my sushi. The crunchy avocado roll, yam and avocado roll, inari and avocado roll, and mango and avocado roll were all TO DIE FOR. I LOVED the crunchy pink stuff on top of the crunchy avocado roll. The agadashi tofu was also SUPERB. You have not experienced Toronto until you have eaten here. Blown away.
