Kibo Sushi House - Sherbourne

Food was absolutely horrible. My pregnant girlfriend was refused the washroom. Customer service 0/10. Also small flies flying around your food:

Very cute Japanese hole in the wall. Warm and friendly. Extensive menu. But no WiFi.

Went to grab some items on end of day special since it's so close to my home. There is no sign for what the end of day special actually is - so i have to ask. The girl that closes is always RUDE. She rushes me off as if i'm bothering her. Please hire friendlier trained staff and not staff that do not like their jobs or are annoyed with customers. I visit other Kibo locations often - usually it's a good experience.

The staff demonstrates a consistently affable demeanor, while the culinary offerings are of exceptional quality. I customarily opt for the Teriyaki Chicken Bento box, which invariably exceeds expectations in terms of both taste and portion size, catering perfectly to my preferences.

Service started declining. I am a permanent client of this place. Today in my combo they gave me a little more than half of the miso soup bowl and half of the salad's amount. Never happened before. First time I have to give that place bad feedback.

Very happy with our dining experience here! We were craving sushi, so we went with the “love boat” for two, but the menu is all encompassing. The noodle bowls we saw came out looked delicious.

The service is quick, friendly, and the food is fresh! Highly recommend.

Bring cash if you think of it, as there’s a “cash discount” offered.

We walked-in in the store today Nov 14, 2024, by 5.45 pm. The receptionist was very rude in taking our orders. Unprofessional, no customer service. Maybe because she was interrupted in her chatting that time. Very disappointed with my 1st visit.

Please disregard the one star reviews on here. They are just whiney and unhappy people. I ate here recently and it's now my fave "unassuming" restaurant to go to! It's cozy, the hot Saki was just the thing on a chilly night and the food was tasty and affordable! A great place for date night. Give it a try, you won't regret it!
