It’s a great place to hang around. It’s not a big shiny bar. But has very cozy local vibe. They used to sell food but now a days they don’t. Hence 4 star. Also they have dartboard.
I'm editing my review as of November 2024 - I just wanted to say that I have made some of the greatest memories of my 20s at the kilt and harp. Lifelong memories and friends I will cherish forever. My only hope is that the kitchen re-opens at some point. As someone who no longer drinks alcohol I would love to have a reason to frequent the establishment again for a nice meal.
What an outstanding pub, the staff mainly Miss Carla, what an overwhelming experience from a family owned establishment. I dropped into the pub by accident and this proves destiny it fate. Should you find yourself in this neck of the woods, stop by. Their selection of ales and on tap is incredible and the owner is personable and a 5 star is due.
