A solid place for Korean food when you’re in Koreatown on Bloor. The restaurant is about a 3-min walk from Bathurst Station.

Visited on a weekend/holiday right when they open and we were the first ones there. The Korean lady seated our party right away and brought over hot tea for us. As we ate, other people started coming in, including a couple Korean families so you know that the place is good haha

We ordered several dishes to try: seafood pancake, grilled marinated short ribs, braised chicken soup (ginseng chicken stuffed with Korean sticky rice), and the stone pot bibimbap with meat.

Highly recommend the grilled galbi here! The meat was sizzling when it was brought to our table. It was grilled to the perfect doneness and the flavor was good too. Also portion size was very large!

The seafood pancake is also a good portion size so if you want to try other dishes, this might be too much.

Really good price for the quality and portion size that you get here.

This is 100% the best Korean food I have had in Toronto. I have tried a lot of different places but the taste just wasn’t as authentic and flavourful. But kimchi house is a 10/10! A staple in our family.

The portions are huge, the prices are reasonable, and food is spectacular! Can’t wait to be back!

I ordered kimchi pancake for takeout. I asked if I could have extra dipping sauce, the server smiled and agreed and this is what I get! Half of the container split into 2. Ridiculous! Just don't give it or charge for an extra one.

This was the 1st time we came here. We ordered a seafood pancake and pork bone soup. The pancake crest was crispy and smelled so good. The pork bone tasted good too but we found the soup was too salty.

Haven’t tried the dine in but it’s the worst idea for taking out. The servers’ attitude is also unfriendly. Definitely not coming back

I really enjoyed my meal, but when I went to pay, the server insisted that I leave a tip, saying it was mandatory. Since I had already paid, I told her I would tip next time, but not the 20% she was demanding. Her response was extremely rude—she cleared my table even though I wasn’t finished yet. It was a very unpleasant experience, especially since I had only asked to pay in advance. Not going here anymore. Though I really love the food :(

this place is awful. The atmosphere is absolutely awful and they have food items that don’t exist on the menu, only on pictures. Please do not come here, they definitely bought their reviews.

Was recommended to come here from a Korean friend. The cold bean broth noodles are a rare find in Toronto and they do it well
