We had the vegetarian platter and the lamb tibs in chef special hot sauce. It was delicious ! Nice variety of flavours, and generous portion. The waitress was very kind and helpful. She also made good recommendations.

We have been here a couple times and everything we have tried has been delicious. Our favourite is the veggie platter, and the meat combination platter and doro wat were also so good - everything tastes homemade. The service is also great, Lilly was very attentive, kind and friendly. We’ll be back!

The food is excellent, the service is warm and courteous, the room looks cool and welcoming and the Ethiopian tunes are boss. What else do you need?

Excellent young woman served us the quiet Wednesday evening we visited. The veggie platter was fine, perfect amount of food, not too much, and the meat platter was good according to my companion. The place was unassuming, felt authentic.

First time eating Ethiopian food and went with high expectations considering the reviews here. Unfortunately I left the restaurant extremely disappointed.I got the vegetarian platter and the chacha platter, everything tasted bland like no salt was added. The hot sauce that came with the chacha was very bitter which I don't think is normal.I was also charged $7 for a plate of injera that I never asked for. It looks like it comes with the platters. Price of injera not included in the menu.Serving size was also tiny considering the priceOverall a terrible experience. Never coming back again.

It had been a long time since we had tried Ethiopian food, and the previous time had peppers that made it impossible for me to eat, much less enjoy. That was not the case here. The food was amazing, and there was so much of it!I just wish the menu had a page that provided an overview of standard Ethiopian menu items so I understood it better, but the staff were gracious and helped us understand our options.Highly recommend!!!

My single favourite Ethiopian restaurant. I'm here at least once a month and I live 5 hours away in Eastern Ontario. Yes both Montréal and Ottawa have very good Ethiopian restaurants but this place is just that step above the rest. I LOVE IT!!!

Come here if you're looking to explore Ethiopian cuisine for the first time!Ate here today with a close friend, it was the first time having Ethiopian food for the both of us, and we were absolutely blown away by this restaurant. We both had Chacha, a lamb dish recommended by the very friendly server, who helped us navigate the menu. The flavour of the lamb, veggies, and hot sauce were all phenomenal. Injera was also light and had good flavour. The only critique I can make is that there were quite a few bones in my friend's dish, and only a few in mine. It didn't really bother us though as we were constantly blown away by the amazing flavour of the dish.Overall 10/10 food and service. We'll definitely be back!

This great little Ethiopian restaurant is easily also our favorite restaurant in the city of Toronto.

First time trying Ethiopian! Food was good, but service was dishonest. I was overcharged for a second entree despite being told it came with my meal. When the additional entree was first brought out, I apologized to the server for my misunderstanding but didn’t know the meal I ordered came with so much food. She confirmed that my meal came with what I ordered plus a veggie platter. I didn’t see it described as that on the menu, assumed I misread and said okay. The cook/owner followed up and came out of the back and said we could not send the extra food back and that it was part of the meal I ordered. I said okay and just asked that the extra food be boxed up to go. But once I got my check, I was charged for two separate meals instead of one. Seemed like everyone there was in on the overcharge except for me.

My experience at this establishment was exceptional! It was exceptional because of the food and service. For food, my sisters and I each got a vegetarian platter! All the dishes on the platter were incredibly delicious and flavorful!!! In terms of service, it has been the best one since I’ve been in Toronto. The staff member was very attentive and checked on us more than once. She refilled our waters and gave us more hit water for tea and was just all around fantastic!!! I have nothing but good things to say about this establishment!!! :)
