If I could give more stars, I would. It has been a long time since I have such quality service. From the hostess, Shahnaz, to our server, Adib, the level of service and hospitality was outstanding! Attentive to my senior mother with mobility issues. My wine was not to my liking and was switched, at no charge to me, immediately. My salmon was exactly as I asked. The food was beautiful, plentiful and wonderful value!! The next morning, new staff, same level of service and food. Suzanne, was wonderful, warm, attentive and informative. My coffee was never more then half way before a hot pot arrived to top it up. The lox and bagel was more then enough that Suzanne was correct in telling us we didn't need to add the extra fruit bowl we tried ordered to share. This level of service speaks volumes to how the restaurant is run. It starts at the top and works it's way down. These people obviously feel appreciated and of value. They all obviously take great pride in their jobs. I'm gushing over this place! Highly, highly recommend!!

Elegant restaurant chosen for its proximity to the theatre. Service was excellent, portions were a great size. The only feedback I have is that our drink menu was taken away from us after we ordered our first drink, that seemed like an odd practice to me. A note for customers about the specialty alcoholic coffee: it came in a stemless wine glass that was 75% whipped cream with approx. 2oz of liquid. Overall though, I would return because of the service/food!

Ordered breakfast off the menu and was very pleased with the food as well as the price. We ate dinner there the night before and thought it was one of the best meals we have ever had. Would for sure go back again if in the area.

I took my teenage daughter out for dinner before a play and we had the best meal ever! The food was fantastic, price was also good. The struggle that I had elsewhere when looking is things are so fancy and pricy. But this restaurant was just perfect. Would highly recommend the salmon and steak. Oh and we booked for breakfast the next morning we liked it so much.

This is a great choice for a pre-theatre meal that is elevated but amazing in terms of large portion size for the mains and good food all around.

We usually have dinner before our Mirvish show and lately we have found that all the restaurants are too loud to have a conversation. Loved that this place was so quiet. We will be back for sure!

We've eaten here before and it didn't disappoint. The wait staff are so kind and caring. We will be back.

I had a truly disappointing experience. The food was inedible—overcooked, poorly seasoned, and just not up to standard. However, the worst part of the experience was the service. Our server, Raul, was incredibly rude and dismissive, making the whole meal even more uncomfortable. We felt unwelcome and ignored. This was a wasted visit, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience.

Enjoyed the salmon dish, very tasty. Our reservations were at 5:30 so it was very quiet so we had lots of attention. Service was excellent as well.

I went for dinner on 2nd August at King Street Social Restaurant and Bar. I had made a reservation for 5 people at 7 pm with Sabina the hostess and informed her that I am an employee at Hyatt Place Toronto/Mississauga Centre and provided her my GID number. I confirmed with her if I would be getting a 50% discount if I come to Dine in only and she said yes and mentioned she would inform the Server for the day as well to make sure we have a good evening.
When I went in and finished dining, I informed politely checked with the server (Raul) if he was aware of the discount and had applied it to the bill. He mentioned that as per the policy we need to be staying at the hotel property to avail the discount. I informed him that Sabina had confirmed that we could avail it even if we are not staying at the hotel. We still went ahead and made the payment for the $218.09. After he noticed that we didn’t tip on the machine, he got frustrated tore out the payment slip and hit it on the table expressing anger. We were going to tip in cash but after seeing the reaction we changed our decision. While leaving my friends told him “Thank you, Good night”, he ignored them. When I told him “Thank you, Good night”, he looked at him with an angry face and continued to clear the tables.
This morning, When I spoke to the hostess (from last evening), she mentioned that after we left, Raul went to her to inform that we only came to dine because of the discount. This is very insulting and disrespectful.

Excellent meal and service. It was very quiet, not many other people so the atmosphere, while pleasant for conversation was not vibrant. We both had the salmon, it was very tasty and nicely plated.

This restaurant is a gem! It's the perfect place for a quiet dinner before a show. The service is fantastic, friendly and prompt. We are working our way through the menu, and have enjoyed everything. They also have a kid's menu!
