Through uber- Just ordered boneless chicken briyani .. had a stale smell to it ...Ordered kheer and you can look at the picture and let me know what it is
My friends and I dined here after work which was perfect because the restaurant is open late. We were greeted by a nice lady who took our order. We didn't have to wait long for the food which was great because we were hungryyy. We got garlic naan, butter naan, beef karahi, chicken karahi, butter chicken, and chicken biryani. They were all very savoury, and really tasty!! If you love spicy food, this is perfect for you! Some of my friends cannot handle too much spice but they still ate till they were full!! It was actually really good. Remember this is authentic Pakistani food so they put a lot of herbs and spices!! My favourite is beef karahi because I love beef duh, but this beef was SOO TENDER, I devoured it!! Definitely recommend if you want to try authentic Pakistani food! Great service overall!
Best Pakistani Food on Gerrard Street. By Far the best Karahi Lamb and Karahi Chicken. Haven't tasted such food in my life. Please come check them out for the best best food.
Ordered their Lamb Biryani and Chicken Tikka wrap. The biryani was flavourful and very good. It had a good amount of lamb in it as well. The chicken Tikka wrap on the other hand was a bit too salty. The prices are reasonable compared to the other spots in the area. The staff were very friendly too. They have outdoor seating as well.
Worst food ever i had at the cost of 253$ . Over spicy and not fresh. The owner is blaming on chef and chef denied he did not cook. waste of money and totally unhealthy. Not recommend at all.
If you want to waste your money then you r welcome!Very low quality, re-heated food,They don’t know how to cook! Extreme spices, high prices and un-professional!(Karahi, biryani, seekh kabab, tikka all waste)
We ordered a simple veggie samosa and chicken and samosa and 2 chai. The veggie samosas were leaking oil, we didn't even need to take a bite or squeeze it, it was just dripping. I get it these are oil fried foods but I don't think it should be like that. The chai were big in size but were more milk than chai. The only good thing was the chicken Samosas that were frozen which says a lot.
Their lamb karahi with garlic Naan on the side is a phenomenal. I am not a big fan of salt, i usually tell them to refuce it a bit for just personal preference. But the lamb karahi is my go to, when i want comfort food. I discovered this little gem in little india a year ago. My friend and I often go here or order take out. The butter chicken is also nice.
I have been to this restaurant couple of times, This time I ordered chicken Karahi, Roti and chicken kebab, all the food tasted amazing, especially their chicken Karahi! You must go to their restaurant if you want to try authentic Pakistani cuisine. Their service was extraordinary and the owner was really nice to us. Don’t forget try their kheer for dessert, it was one of the best desserts I had after a long time!
Visited it unplanned as I came for Lahore tikkah house but that place full so came to king karahi with family for iftari.Believe me they are very welcoming. Food is very delicious and at reasonable price.I would definitely come here again.
Restaurantji Recommends
Food doesn't taste good. Thought it could be Pakistani indian origin but no. Their biryani taste horrible. Cooking biryani is not a Rocket science. Most of the people knows how to cook biryani. Being a restaurant, cooking horrible biryani is not good! Disappointed totally!
Wanted to try something new so i came to this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised! The staff at the front are extremely kind and their customer service is great, i see people complain about that but let me tell you they are so welcoming and helpful! They recommended the butter chicken saying it wasn't sweet and they were right! The flavors are nothing like the butter chicken I've tried before it was so good with butter and garlic naan. The chicken biryani and the lamb karahi are also really good. The kheer is a must try its creamy and sweet! Will definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes Pakistani cuisine.
Ended up there because another restaurant we planned on going to was full but I’m so glad we did. The food was amazing! You can tell all the curries were freshly made and the service too was impeccable!
Amazing place and amazing owner!! You will never have no problem coming here! He’ll treat you like your own and take care of you. Definitely recommend it!
I came here 2 times to try their butter chicken and it was so disgusting. They seem to mix butter chicken with chicken karahi, which are clearly not the same and it tasted horrible. The customer service is also terrible since the cashier is so rude and disrespectful. I also heard that they have been creating fake 5 star reviews from multiple google accounts. That's despicable!
