Lovely little restaurant on Laird, near McRae. Fulsome sushi menu but also some nice bento selections. Very tasty, satisfying, and at a great price. Pork katsu, chicken teriyaki, and tempura selections were delicious. Give yourself a treat and try Kintako!

A truly great sushi restaurant with a warm and inviting atmosphere! The restaurant is on the small side, with some booths and tables. The sushi was flavourful, as well as the salad. Service was very fast and we will be back for more delicious eats!

We came across this place by chance, and it was a lovely experience. There was no front desk, but we were greeted soon after we got in. Their menu had quite a number of options and the person who took our order was very helpful with explaining options and making recommendations. The food was served on time and it tasted pretty good.There was another person there who checked in to make sure things were okay, and also helped moved us to a booth seat when one was available…and we got to meet an artist who did a sketch ?It’s not a massive space, but especially with the booth seats, you could have your own space. There was music playing, but the volume was just right.It’s a fun place and I’d go back there for the food and customer service. They also had lots of drawings on the wall and crayons at the table so I assume they are family-friendly.
