My wife and I enjoyed a lovely evening out. Sampled multiple items which were all incredible. Had Sake and never really wanted to leave. We walked in without reservations and were accommodated immediately. Serving staff were friendly and attentive. Overall a wonderful experience and we're looking forward to our next visit.
Amazing place and amazing dishes. I recommend
Always enjoy visiting this restaurant. Super cute inside, great food and fast service. Will continue to visit them.
Our favourite izakaya in Toronto! We love the sushi here. I always get the Chef's Choice Sushi (6 pieces of nigiri). Kintaro changed my mind about how delicious unagi can be. If you're lucky, you might get a piece of salmon belly --- I enjoyed that a lot!
Though it's a little pricey, it's still worth an occasional visit.
DELICIOUS, affordable food.
Welcoming environment.
Great Japanese Playlist.
Unique menu. Lovely ambiance.
Open late.
Had an exquisite dish 'bonito' that moved while i ate it.
Highly recommend.
Nice Japanese food but quite expensive and quantity is less :(
Food was good and the price fair for toronto
Skewers were amazing but a bit on the pricey side, considering the portions as well.
The unagidon is to die for and the first kiss cocktail is so darn yummy! Highly recommended
Great spot for a late night dinner after enjoying a jazz show. Service was great even though it was very busy.
Restaurantji Recommends
Servers were amazing. Excellent service and The ramen 🍜 was dammmm good. I ordered with extra egg though. Must try guys🍜🤌
Great food! We loved everything we ordered. The place is in the heart of Church Street.

i'm pretty sure i got food poisoning from the skewers :[ would just advise against if you have a weak stomach maybe? idk i've never had this happen before. but otherwise their food and service is really good, i've come here a couple times and it's always a nice vibe. i have tried their agadashi and karrage and never had issues.
Food is good but feels like being urged to go at the last 10-15minutes of the dinner
Extremely unprofessional. Tell us to wait 30 minutes for a table for 4, and the whole time they had 3 empty tables. We waited the 30 minutes, and they still didn’t seat us until a 4th empty table, which took over 1 hour. Whoever is in charge of reservations and seating needs to be fired ASAP. Never coming back to this place. Whoever is reading this and lining up, go somewhere else; don’t waste your time. By the way, the food was mediocre.
