Over the years going to kinton there has been very serious shrinkage in the amount of food they give you. They continue to charge extra for an egg, and the bowl as of Nov 2025 ends up leaving you more hungry than when you came in.
I would recommend other ramen places over Kinton since the value is not there. It felt like they gave me a sample bowl of ramen.

The Golden Sesame Ramen blew me away. ALL of the flavour & creamyness, minus tummy drama. I always have the 'Spicy Pork Ramen' - it's absolutely delicious, but my stomach struggles with the aftermath of the chili pepper. I'm petitioning to promote the Golden Sesame to the year-round main menu, pretty please Kinton!!

I was walking by and wanted to try some ramen and got into the first restaurant, the place was busy with dinners and takeout orders, we got first greeted by ayako’s beautiful smile and enthusiasm, then the kitchen staff and other servers, we got seated and the atention and service was organized and fast, i started with a pitcher of saporo (couldn’t believe the price) edemame and gyozas, they were really tasty, then a couple of clasic ramen bowls that were incredible, i was on vacation in TO for a week and it became the place to eat at the end of the night, 5 nights out of 7 weren’t enoght. Thanks to all the staff and ayako for the experience.
Ps: the place was super clean and spotless, the wasrooms were the cleanestt iv ever seen, which always means that the back of the house is also clean, i would only recommend to repaint the bases of the chairs which peoples shoes get dirty easily

Kinton Ramen was so good! The broth was rich and flavorful, the noodles had the perfect texture, and every topping felt fresh and well-prepared. On top of that, the service was quick and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. Great food, great service definitely worth visiting.

Not only was the food superb, the staff were all so wonderful. I passed out at the restaurant due to some health issues. The staff were attentive to me and my friends. They even drove a couple of my friends to the hospital. Thank you so much for your patience and kindness. Despite everything that happened, I absolutely loved everything about the restaurant. Would 100% come back when I visit Toronto again:)

I order the spicy chicken ramen with thick noodles, it was delicious. Food is 10/10 service is amazing and the bathrooms are incredibly clean and they offer mouthwash. Price is reasonable.

The broth in the miso beef was way saltier than usual. Had to add water to it :(

Amazing Japanese cuisine around, must say Kinton has been very consistent with their flavour. My go to ramen place in Toronto! 🌟

Over the years, I have visited the Korea Town location. First time trying the beef spicy jalapeño ramen. First impression was the soup was tasty but not hot enough as far as the temperature goes. The bowl was delivered shortly after being prepared.
For those that like hot food may find this ramen on the spicier side. I have a high tolerance level for spice and found the soup very spicy.
I found the beef flavour under what I would have expected. The flavour was more about the jalapeño instead. I had to confirm with the server that the soup stock was actually beef.
The ramen came with two thick slices of tender beef. Very lean though. Would have preferred a fattier slice since the fat provides most of the beef flavour.
Also, marinated bamboo shoots, wood ear mushroom slices and diced green onions were included as toppings.
No condiments on the table.
Overall, I enjoyed the ramen. Would I order this one again? Probably not since there are many more I have not tried yet.
For those looking for a variety, Kinton Ramen does not disappoint.
