I was in the area and I hadn't had ramen in a very long time, so I figured I'd pop into Kinton for a quick dinner. They had a couple of interesting-sounding specials, but I ultimately decided to go with the tried and true Pork Spicy Garlic ("chili pepper, pork, grated garlic, wood ear mushrooms, bamboo shoots, scallions"). It took a surprisingly long time to arrive, maybe 20 minutes or so, but it was worth the wait. The super flavorful broth is the star of the show, and it's complemented by an array of tasty components. (Ironically, the pork itself was the weakest element, as it had a bit of a leftover-y taste.) It's a good deal, too: I got the combo that comes with a beer and with tip, the whole thing came out to exactly $23.
