We didn't eat there this time. We walked by when my daughter (3 years old) was in rush to go potty, so I asked the staff if it's okay for my toddler to use their washroom really quick. The staff told me she had to check with her supervisor, and then the response was a firm no because it's for customers only. Yes, I understand the washroom is for customers only, but who says no to a 3 years old that can't really control their physical urge all that well?
I had Kinton's ramen before. It was okay, nothing wrong with it. A bit pricy, but still acceptable for Toronto. However, because of how child unfriendly they were, I'll never eat there again.

It's a small place but cozy. Ramen was very good for the price and the service was more than excellent. I'll be back soon.

This is my favorite ramen restaurant to go to every single time I go downtown to go and buy pokemon cards and do events.

They called the police on a man on the sidewalk because he wouldn't do what they told him to on a public sidewalk.

The Pork Gyoza was decent—nothing special but solid. The real star here is the ramen, which was simply delicious. I tried both the Beef Spicy Jalapeño Ramen and the Pork Spicy Garlic Ramen. The jalapeño ramen had a bold, spicy kick with plenty of jalapeño flavor, while the garlic ramen was outstanding—packed with flavor and just the right amount of heat. If you’re a ramen fan, this spot is definitely worth checking out!

I ordered ramen from Kinton Ramen on Uber Eats. Upon receiving my order, the entire broth was spilled inside the delivery bag because the container wasn’t sealed properly and popped open during delivery. The bare minimum they could’ve done was tape or secure the box, but instead it was packaged so poorly that spillage was inevitable - no matter how careful a driver is.
When I reached out, they pinned the blame entirely on Uber Eats instead of taking responsibility for their own packaging. They were not helpful at all.
Very disappointing experience. Don’t order online from Kinton Ramen unless you’re okay with your food arriving spilled inside the bag and with zero support from the restaurant.

I tried the “meal for one.” The gyoza dumplings were delicious. I ordered the shoyu ramen but felt compelled to add extra soy sauce. I don’t know if maybe I needed a pallet cleanser between each dish but the broth tasted bland before I added the extra soy. Nevertheless, the Ajitsuke Tamago was on point!

Pros = staff was awesome. Very nice and authentic people. Quality seemed above mid. Brisket cut was not bad.
Cons = kinda basic flavors. Wasn't blown off my seat with the feeling like I must return. Chicken was straight cold and not desirable at all
Overall = for me personally it was good but thats it just good. Making bomb ramen at home is way better these days with organic options but I aint mad at this place if your in the area check it out
Amazing! Service was great. Kindest workers with the most positive energy bringing love to their food. Shoyu pork ramen was the move today and it was a delicious peppery soup with great portion sizes. Food came out extremely fast and seating was also efficient. Overall a must visit if you’re in the mood for ramen or even just in the area.

One of the OG ramen joints in Toronto, it's sad to say that Kinton doesn't really stack up anymore against the competition. Bowls tend to be quite basic compared to the large variety of broths, toppings, and additions at other ramen joints. The brand definitely feels like the fast food of ramen these days, albeit this isn't reflected in its prices. Their kaarage is still very good however.

I ordered takeout on Uber from them, and I got one of the worst food poisoning incidents ever in my life from their food. Specifically their cheese cake and takoyaki definitely had major problems. They need to send a food and safety inspector in to make sure the food is actually safe to consume. This is not okay at all!! Please do not order from them unless you enjoy stomach pain so bad it makes you faint!!
