I had a really disappointing experience at this restaurant last night when I went for dinner with a friend. It wasn’t even during a busy time, and the restaurant wasn’t crowded, yet service was extremely slow and careless.
We placed our order well before a group that arrived after us, but somehow their food came out much earlier than ours. While we were still waiting for our food, a tall waitress came over and asked if she could clear our table — assuming we had already finished eating. It was very off-putting and made us feel completely ignored.
When the food finally arrived, we had to ask again for side plates and even rice, which were not brought out with the meal. We waited a long time again before getting those basic items.
The worst part of the experience happened after we left — both my friend and I had severe diarrhea on the way home. I truly believe the food was not fresh.
Unfortunately, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had, and I won’t be coming back.

Great sushi for a good price, near Downtown. Certainly recommend going on a regular night out, as the value is really good. It's not high-end.
One thing to note is that when they apply the 5 % cash discount, they keep the tax amount the same. This overcharges you by 0.65 % (yes, I'm petty, but this is a principle).

I've been to fancy sushi places in Yorkville and the core... They do not compare to the quality of the fish here at Kiro. I keep travelling across town to eat here and have brought all my favourite people, as well.

My friend and I ordered a meal for three people at 98. It was a good deal and the ingredients tasted very fresh. The rolls were also delicious.
Nice sushi restaurant. Fresh sashimi ingredients. But the taste of BC urchin is very different from that of Japanese urchin. But the service was not satisfactory because there were too many people. Every time I had to come out of the booth to find service.

Sushi here is great! We often get the sushi (nigiri) and roll platter and we are very satisfied.
Kiro sushi is actually such a hidden gem! It has a very cozy atmosphere and the sushi here is delicious and high quality. On top of that the prices are not overly high. I’ve come to Kiro twice and would be back!

I had amazing sushi at Kiro Sushi! All rolls were incredibly fresh, and the Spicy Salmon Dragon melted in my mouth. The staff were friendly, and the cozy atmosphere made it a perfect spot. Highly recommend!
