Excellent chirashi bowl, fish is super fresh !

I certainly hope their desserts and sushi are better than their hot food. We ordered their specialty menu's braised soft porkbone rice bowl and Katsu don. The braised pork was bland. The Katsu was soggy.

Food was okay but to expensive for what you're getting. Service was horrible won't be back.

It was pricey but the match ice cream cone was delicious.

A small shop with only one staff member, so you may have to wait if there are other customers. Tried the waffles — the sweet option was better than the okonomiyaki one. The soft serve was excellent. Limited seating available, and the location is a bit hidden inside a supermarket.

Hidden gem, would 10/10 would recommend. Salmon Avocado Don is a must try

Spent 40 minutes waiting for 2 rice bowls. That’s extremely slow.

The Matcha Soft Serve Ice Cream at Kitaya Japanese Takeout was good. The Matcha was smooth, not too sweet, and delicious :)

I'd rate food as 1 star but put 3 here so that my comment cannot be deleted. I got the premium don and this roll for $45 after cash discount. The rice is so cold and hard, apparently rice is stored in the fridge and not reheated. It just tastes like sushi from supermarket, but with premium price. The sashimi just tastes like regular quality and not that fresh. The roll focuses more on cost-saving instead of offering the variety of ingredients that it should provide - it's mostly rice and vege, you can hardly tastes the fish. If these are $25, I'd give 4 star, but at $45, you can get much better sushi from other places....Anyone that rates this place above 4 star might have only tried sushi at supermarkets.

I hope the owner can take this review seriously and re-think about your strategy. The chef should continue to work on cooking skills. Otherwise this type of restaurant won't last long.

matcha soft serve was just okay - not a super strong matcha taste and very milky. hojicha soft serve was really not good too. 😢

Quality and portion sizes are good at a reasonable price. As mentioned not a whole lot of seating but that's OK given it's a take out place lol

Very, very good desert, the best Asian desert I’ve had in a long time. Only thing that could make it better is if the ice cream were a more intense flavour.
