The milk soft serve here tastes like rich milk from a farm and is the most delicious Japanese-style ice cream in Toronto. The matcha soft serve was also very delicious and not too sweet. The J-pop music being played in the store is modern and very Japanese-like.

Definitely a hidden gem. Despite being a small shop, the quality is better than many Japanese restaurants in the city. Their don has good portion, and the flavors are wonderful. Will definitely come back to try out their whole menu!

There are many places that the food was just average, but I would go back because of the service was good. This place is definitely not one of those.I had matcha and hojicha twist with my azuki mochi but the matcha was just not strong enough. Hojicha was also just meh. What bothered me most is the attitude from the male server who, in my opinion, one of the worst I have seen. An old lady who was ordering before me was having difficulty reading the menu yet instead of helping her out, he just kept telling her that he doesn’t get it.This is one of the very few places that offers hojicha soft serve so I was really let down by the quality. Not somewhere I would revisit.

This was a nice little shop, I go to for sushi. Just wow, their quality is top notch. I really wasn't expecting it to be this good. Definitely gotta get their tuna specials. If you like better sushi take out definitely you should consider this place!

I ordered the ikura salmon don, which was $22. Maybe I have high expectations, but I guess I was expecting a little more than just 4 pieces of salmon sliced on a huge bed of rice, with packet soy sauce in a 6 inch bowl. The rice was light and fluffy which was nice. I feel for this price point, I you can get “dons” with better value at other places. Also the menu on google is not correct, so be warned. Please check the website or the signage in the store.

I'm all about hojicha-flavoured. Honestly it has the right amount of hojicha taste, so it's great in terms of flavour. Its portion is huge like too much for ice cream. I'm not sure if it's just me or what, but that much of ice cream gave me stomachache or discomfort. I'd rather to have less portion with a lower price, or to have someone to share with. But the worst part is the mochi. Mochi is supposed to be soft and chewy, but their mochi was DISGUSTING. Nothing like it's supposed to be. Look at the picture. It's not hard to think it's been frozen for too long. It was icy and unpleasant to eat. Huge disappointment. Definitely not worth the money, nor the wait.

Been here more than 10 times already and been trying almoat everything in their menu. This Japanese restaurant is a must try as they have a lot to offer from appetizer to dessert. But what I love the most are their rice bowls. The serving is generous. The place is also a good spot to try desserts specially ice cream. Snacks or side dish that I would recommend are takoyaki and karaage. For rice bowls it's the Gyu don and Katdu don. Rice rolls everything's delicoius.

Pretty good Japanese restaurant that is mainly takeout. They do have a few seats if you choose to dine in. Lots of good variety to choose from their ice cream to different Japanese dishes like sushi, sashimi and donburi. I ordered the Hojicha Latte and premium sashimi set, most of the sashimi I found was fresh except for the red tuna. Would recommend others give this place a try.
