Fantastic experience! The homemade sake is a game-changer, and the sushi is incredibly fresh and delicious. The creative approach to traditional dishes really sets this place apart. Can't wait to come back!

Such a fun little discovery! Great value for money and everything was so fresh. We tried two kinds — salmon avocado and tuna aioli — and both were fantastic. Ordered four to share as an afternoon snack and it was the perfect choice. Definitely coming back for more!

Great service, cute spot and amazing sampling options! Got the 12 pc sampler and it was great, lots of food, we were stuffed and had leftovers. Highly recommend the traffic light, wasabi, bulgogi and aburi salmon.

Pocket Sushi is absolutely delicious! My family and I even drive all the way from the east end just for this spot. The chef is always so kind – he even gives me miso soup every time I visit. The service is amazing, and the sushi is a must-try. I recommend starting with one of each pocket sushi to discover your favorite – you won’t be disappointed!

It was my first time experiencing this wonderful offering from this quaint little cute restaurant. The service was Top Notch Smiles all around and you can feel the love. You could taste the love with every morsel and bite. Great place for a date night for a quick lunch or even a small group. I can't wait to return once again. Thank you so much for treating us like family.

this is Korean style, not Japanese. You won't find any of these in Japan but you'll find them all over Korea. It's strange the owner decided to claim they were Japanese, especially given the popularity of K-pop, K-drama, etc... Rename it K-Pop Sushi FTW!

I was excited to try this restaurant. The miso soup and the gyoza were enjoyable but the sushi was kind of disappointing. As a vegetarian, the options here are ok. The presentation was nice but the flavours were underwhelming. If you eat fish or meat you will probably have a better experience. This was one of my least favourite experiences for vegetarian sushi. I felt it was too expensive.

3.5/5.0 rounded down.
We dropped by and just ordered two inari pockets to taste as a little snack, and it really wasn't anything too special. We had the Stamina Unagi and the Tako Wasabi pockets. The inari was overpowering for the Unagi pocket, but paired well with the Tako pocket, which was tasty.
Might recommend as a spot to visit for a snack or to try on a food crawl, but definitely not for a meal as it's really expensive for what you get in my opinion (one pocket was $5 pre-tax). For the same price as their set for 2 ($48, which only comes with 6 pieces, miso, takoyaki, and salad) you could get a nice sushi combo elsewhere!
Staff were really friendly though which was a plus. There's also a 5% cash discount.

Great place! As soon as we got in, we got greeted by a lovely server!! Food was super fresh! Would definetly recommend trying the avocado salmon yuzu Inari. Their salad was very fresh and crisp! Their facility was super clean which is a plus for food joints. Very quaint place with great vibes reminding me of the food joins in Osaka!! 10/10 would recommend and would definetly eat here again!

I really enjoy pocket sushi, as I have seen it showcased in many major movies and anime from Japan throughout my life. I finally had the chance to taste it, and I ordered salmon, tuna, and crab. They were all wonderful—fresh and flavorful! The team is very nice as well, so I highly recommend this place for a great time and delicious food!

Small and cozy Japanese restaurant in Kensington. We were walking by and was planning to eat at another restaurant, but the menu caught our eye and we decided to try this place instead.
10/10 for presentation and aesthetics. Service was great, we were greeted right away and had friendly service.
It's a cozy dining area so you can hear each other's conversations. Aside from that, the food was yummy and priced okay. Will definitely return again to try the other menu items!
