This is a great restaraunt. I keep going back for the good food and the quiet ambiance. Talking to your friends is easy without the noise. A good place for business lunches and hanging out with friends.
Very enjoyable place food and drinks were fire I’m headed back with some other friend this weekend probably or p soon see you guys then.
Cheers-

Definitely the best thing about this place is the coziness and vibe inside. The classic small sides were actually extra and on the menu. The bibimbap was okay, but the bulgogi was less than stellar. It just looked and tasted like it was covered in sauce from a jar after it was cooked. Better to take Line 1 and go towards Sheppard or Finch for better korean food in my opinion.

Excellent Japanese restaurant, particularly for sushi and bibimbap. Very fresh products and very affordable in a very chic neighborhood!
They serve us delicious Korean food. It tastes like my grandmother made it. The chef and server were nice and I would like to recommend here. Thank youuu

Solid 4 star experience at KOKO share bar in yorkville.
First and foremost - the food is absolutely delicious. We shared the cauliflower bits and sushi pizza to start, and each of us had the bibimbap as our main.
What took away from the experience was the slow service and warm temperature inside. Service was slow overall - taking a long time to refill water, bring requested items (forks, extra napkins) and the food was quite slow to come out as well. In addition, the restaurant was quite warm which made eating a very hot meal a little less comfortable. -1 star overall for these drawbacks. But would still come back again!

Used to come here all the time. It was way better. Everything has gone down. Service was awful, haughty and rude. She repeatedly got our order wrong. And then I saw we were charged for items she forgot to bring. The food was bland. Will never go back again. Also, the waitress was so mean to customers. Why? Why are you charging for items you forgot?

One of the best Japanese/Korean fusion spots in Toronto. Have been coming for many, many years and food + service never disappoints! Keep up the fine work KOKO!

Our group had the Bibimbap, and it was fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. Great service and presentation—we’ll definitely be back!

The Lobster Bibimbap was so delicious!
The bimbimbap here gets the rice really crispy at the bottom
the quality of the salad, some of the sushi (the scallop) and the korean short ribs was awful. no if ands or buts. salad - salad came right out of a salad pack (at least it tasted that way). no freshness, no flavor. awful. i had to ask for extra dressing to hide the taste. scallop sashimi - it smelled awful... realized it only after i ate it (i.e. i smelled the other one). pretty sure it was beginning to spoil. short ribs were greasy... i could swear they were fried in oil. certainly not the korean beef experience i had in Seoul with some friends in a little neighborhood butcher shop turned bbq place at night. guys - i get running a restaurant isn't easy, but come on. i'm pretty sure you can do better.
