I've been eating raw raw fish a lot since it first came out, and I've recommended it to people around me regardless of the season, so now there's no one around me who knows that it's the best raw fish restaurant in Toronto. However, I am disappointed that the quality of raw fish has dropped so much recently. The type and amount of meetings, which were always informative, have decreased. I enjoyed it because it included Pohang-style raw fish and abalone, but it disappeared before I knew it. And the seasoning sauce, which had been thin like thin ice, hardened like a block of ice, and more than anything, the taste of the seasoning sauce itself changed. I have enjoyed eating sashimi raw fish since the beginning, and in order to repay the owner who made delicious raw sashimi, I used my personal connections to recommend it to many people in Toronto, but it seems that it has become a restaurant I cannot recommend anymore. Recently, I have heard several times from people around me that they can no longer order raw fish. As a customer who has cherished and recommended Coco Sushi's raw fish, I hope that the taste and quality of the raw fish will not deteriorate. I am so heartbroken that my favorite store in Toronto has ended up like this. I ask that Coco Sushi be able to restore its former taste and reputation.
The best sushi restaurant I've ever been in Toronto ?
We went here on a whim for the first time. Now we keep going there to eat. The food is great, the portions are nice and the price is good. It is a great place to eat in the neighborhood.

when purchasing temaki for the first time to take away. When I got home I saw that they sold me micro temaki. for an expensive price, a tiny size. I won't be back.

Not bad overall. A good thing about this place is their tables have each private certains. Overall food is good. The only thing I was very disappointed with was their special dish called Mulwhe (cold sashimi soup). It was way too sweet to eat without pouring so much wasabi in it. If you like a desert like sweet of a soup, go for it. Otherwise I'd recommend avoiding that special dish. Sad this place is the only one of a few serving that food in the GTA...hope they can make it a lot more legitimately.

Sushi is ok. The spicy tuna and salmon use shaved fish pieces instead of large pieces. Salad and soup are great. Given the quality of the food it seems over priced.

Water sashimi!!!!!!!! This is the only raw fish dish you can taste in Toronto. Please don't get rid of the raw fish menu and keep selling it. When I was pregnant, the thing I wanted to eat the most was raw fish, but I couldn't eat it, so it remained in my heart. It's so nice to be able to eat raw fish that tastes as similar to Korean as possible. It was worth driving for an hour. They said it's for one person, but it's so big that even two people would be full. I think I'll go there often whenever I think of it.

2024 Update: For about a year I was ordering takeout dinners from KoKo almost once a week. I took these delicious meals to my friend at the hospital who was fighting cancer. When I placed the order for this particular meal, KoKo would ask if I was taking it to my friend at the hospital. Then they would prepare it in a very bespoke way every time. They would often add a small complimentary order of kyozas to the meal. One can get sushi anywhere but the warmth and care they demonstrated are extraordinary.A Korean-owned local sushi restaurant, fresh sashimi and sushi, esthetically served, and warm staff. A great place for sushi platters as well. Glad to have found it, now we have another great neighbourhood place to go to.
