Amazing BBQ, good portions, so so tasty. We got the medium BBQ on the Table with a good amount of meat, the spicy chicken was especially loved by our table. I got Barley tea, which is new to me and lovely. But the highlight was Jason the owner, he makes you feel fully welcome. He said “I want you to feel like a guest in my mother’s home.” And you do feel it.It’s a wonderful place. This place got my friend through the Pandemic & it’s great that it survived, so they could share it with us. I need to come back next time I am in the area. Don’t walk- RUN to Korean Village Restaurant!

I went here today with a group of friends. Needless to say, this will be the one spot I will be coming back to.Their hospitality was on point. I spoke to one of the owners, and he took care of us and treated us like family. The customer service we received here blew past any expectations I had set. We had just finished our exams and the owner had come to make sure that everything was taken care of. From helping us cook the meats, and talking to us about his personal life. He truly made us feel at home and it was so clear he took such pride in running this restaurant. The food, my god the food was amazing. From the moment you walked into the restaurant the atmosphere was cozy and warm. It smelled like home cooked food. Everything from the Beef short rib to the spicy chicken and the pork belly was marinated to perfection. We had the table side Bbq, and everything was absolutely delicious grilled to perfection. I would highly recommend the kimchi, truly some of the best kimchi I’ve ever had. We also had Jajangmyeon, the noodles were amazing. The texture was unlike any other noodle I’ve ever had. The quality was unmatched, and the black bean sauce is to die for. Highly recommend trying the black bean sauce with the rice as well.As for the portions, the portions were enormous easily enough for the 6 of us. The meat was very high quality, some of the best meat if not the best meat I’ve had. Especially for such an affordable price. All in all, an absolutely lovely dining experience I will 100% be recommending this to my friends and family. If you’re still on the edge and debating on coming, please come, try out the food. I can promise you that you won’t regret it.

Food: The Stone Bowl dish impresses with its fresh, flavorful, and piping hot presentation. However, the Bulgogi Dinner falls short in flavor depth, accompanied by a disappointingly small portion of rice (probably due to shrinkflation as the kimichi side was also very small). The Ddukbokki delivers on spice but lacks variety, particularly in its limited fish cake presence. Overall, while the flavors are authentic, you may find the portions a bit small, leaving you wanting more bang for your buck.Service: Pretty good except they don't bring the check or tell you they won't. You have to pay at front counter.Atmosphere: Ruined by the loud local radio station playing English pop music...would be much better with some Korean music.

The owner Jason is so incredibly lovely. It sounds hyperbolic, but his business philosophy and his appreciation for his customers genuinely brought a tear to my eye. The kalbi was also some of the most tender and soft meat I've ever had the pleasure to bite into.

Fantastic food, but the experience was the most memorable. The owner, Jason, was very friendly and approached us constantly during our meal to make sure we were enjoying everything. He was also very generous and told us a heartfelt and sweet story about his relationship with his mother. Will definitely be coming again just to have more conversations with him!

The owner is one of the most inspirational people I’ve ever met in my life. Few other dinners have had such a massive impact to the way I view life. Thank you Jason for an unforgettable dinner <3Also the kalbi was unbelievably delicious and juicy.

I came here because the owner is a regular at the coffee shop that I work at. I honestly wasn’t expecting such amazing service! Jason (the owner) and his staff are so hospitable and attentive! The food was amazing and fairly priced and the atmosphere was amazing. Definitely recommend coming here.

Incredible food and exceptional customer service! This is hands down the best Korean restaurant in the city. Everything from food, ambience to the customer service was exceptional. As soon as we entered the restaurant, there were multiple people greeting us. The interior had a warm, authentic Korean hanok vibe with tons of space and seating, that is impressive considering it’s prime downtown location. The soondubu, kampungki and the kimchi pancakes were extremely flavourful! The owner personally came to express his gratitude after our meal and shared his family’s story and the restaurant’s history. They truely and wholeheartedly care about their customers and it reflects in every single aspect of this restaurant which makes it so special.
