The calamari ran out quickly, the halal beef tacos were wonderfully crunchy and packed with tender, juicy beef, but the standout was definitely the shepherd’s pie being warm, comforting, and the perfect cozy dish. The only catch was how packed the place was on a Thursday eve.

Food is very good and the prices are moderate. The noise level is high enough that it impedes conversation at a table. The service is fine, if a bit obtrusive.

We've come to Kōst a couple times now, whenever we come to Toronto. We always have been given great and quick service. Kōst burger was fresh, given french fries instead of home fries this time but still tasted just as good - do wish it was the home fries though just for that crunch we remembered, burger quality was once again amazing. For myself I started with a Spanish Coffee - that coffee was so good, if you order be prepared to be hit with brandy! Next I ordered the Ricotta Agnolotti. The basil pesto sauce was fresh and the Agnolotti was as I liked it, the flavor of the Ricotta wasn't overwhelming rather worked with the basil pesto. Ambiance was as expected. We could tell our waiter was busy but they were. He was amazing, checked with us everytime he passed, even through the mask you could see he was smiling - really appreciate that. We'll be back again.
