Kosta's Bakery made the most beautiful and delicious cake for a family member's birthday! Everyone absolutely loved it and they went above and beyond decorating it! I highly recommend them!

Absolutely unacceptable that I found multiple pieces of metal in my bougatsa. What would happen if I was to swallow this? Somebody needs no look into this, because this is a hazard. Will not be back.

Very upsetting experience. I placed an order for wheat and bread for siblings funeral. No problem will be ready the day of the funeral by 11 am (today). I arrived on time and came prepared with my bowl. When I arrived they had all ready had my package together. I looked at the wheat and realized this was not what I wanted. I was told flat out this is what I ordered. I said, no, I ordered wheat. They proceeded to tell me I should have come with my bowl 2 days earlier. I expressed that no one advised me if this. Apparently the woman that took my order started to loudly chastise me in front of many of there customers telling me she remembers exactly that I had ordered Golifa- which is for memorial. I was so upset I started yelling back at her. This was a very uncomfortable and embarrassingSituation. Due to my not knowing the Greek traditions, I would have expected the server to maybe clarify my order but this did not happen. To be berated like that, surely she must have realized that I was attending a funeral today. Of course she had no idea it was for my sibling, but this was no way to treat a grieving customer. This woman had no compassion. So rude!Fortunately, another woman came and helped me out. My order was adjusted and I went on my way. The experience just added further to my anxiety.

Kostas Greek Bakery is an institution in Scarborough. We’ve had many of their sweet and savory baked goods for years and they have been consistently good. They also sell a variety of cold and dry grocery items; and, their frappés are some of the best around.

Got a variety of pastries for my father's birthday. Everyone loved them! Everything tasted fresh and delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful - I'll definitely be visiting again!
My mom asked for a 2 layer cake and was originally told that because it's a 2 layer cake, she has to pay $80. My mom was born in an English speaking country so language barrier has nothing to do with this. My mom went to pick up the cake today. It was only 1 layer and on top of that, they didn't even offer to help her fix THEIR own mistake. On top of that they still charged her $80. The cake was beautiful but not what was asked for. Will never come back.
