What a hidden gem! The best polish food I’ve ever tasted. I can’t say enough about how delicious every dish was. I’m polish so I’m very critical. We had a party of 13 and everyone raved about it. To end the night one thing we didn’t try was their homemade pickles. Another wow factor! Just like my mom’s. They gave us jars to take home. How sweet is that. We will be back.

Love to check out good food places and this place is a hidden gem on the Queensway. As a born polish Canadian I decided it was time to see what Kovalsky restaurant had to offer ordered a gulash soup and potato pancake with beef gulash It was delicious had no room for dessert Service was top notch !!! Would recommend it to everyone polish staple food beautifully executed

On September 27 2025 at noon I had the best beef goulash with potato pancakes and salad in the 75 years of me eating Polish food all over the world. Served piping hot and delicious tasting. That i hope it will not be our first and last time for Kovalsky restaurant.

If I could give them 100 stars, I absolutely would! The food was incredibly delicious. We ordered from their platter menu, the one with the cutlet, and honestly—oh my God—it was amazing! This was the best dish I’ve had in Toronto in the past seven years I’ve been living here. The gentleman who helped us was extremely friendly and respectful. I’m so glad I discovered this restaurant!

Excellent! We had a family birthday party here - food was absolutely delicious. It’s hard to find Polish food that we enjoy outside of home cooked meals - this was very tasty. Service was great, very polite and helpful staff. Great value/price as well. We will be back - can’t recommend it enough.

Exactly what you’d expect! A comfy, quiet atmosphere - the breaded chicken and schnitzel with mushrooms were both perfectly cooked and seasoned. The sides were also a 10/10! Easy to recommend if you are looking for a no-nonsense Polish meal. Sto lat!
