Really nice ramen. I had the house special ramen and it was tasty and the broth is definitely not too creamy or heavy. The noodles have the perfect texture. Would definitely come back.

This is actually the best ramen I’ve had in Toronto😳 for me, it’s the broth that makes or breaks a ramen and their broth is the best one I’ve had in the city… trust me… I tried all the popular ramen places… and this is my fav !

I was not able to review this location since I was refused service arriving @ 2:19 pm.
Advertised lunch is over @ 2:30 pm.
Added Note: I travelled from the west end of Toronto to the East end to be disappointed.
The expression on the servers face said he was pissed that I showed up 21 minutes before closing. No customer service. Not even a mention that they reopen @ 4:30 pm or an apology.
Too bad for them.

I’ve been dining at Kyouka Ramen since they opened and I’ve loved them ever since! Every time I’ve went, the service is amazing and the food is delicious! I moved to the west end now and I’ve tried to find a ramen place closer to me that’s comparable but I honestly can’t. Kyouka Ramen has my favourite ramen in Toronto.

I first discovered Kyouka Ramen about 10 years ago when they opened in Markham. I loved their ramen — the rich chicken and pork broth and the unique texture of their noodles really set them apart from other restaurants. I’m not sure why they closed their Markham location, but I truly felt it was a loss, as it was one of my favourite ramen spots. Now, whenever I crave it, I have to drive all the way downtown. I really hope they can reopen somewhere in Markham or midtown to save me the trip.

Hands down one of the worst ramen I’ve ever had.
Had the house special ramen. solid fat bits float on the broth, which is a complete turn off. chashu is dry and not tender. naruto fish cake (placed on top) in first bite feels like taken right out of the fridge. noodles are ok. same quality meat with the karaage, very dry and very over breaded.

Had the Chilled Sesame Ramen (special summer menu dish). Noodles were cooked perfectly and the flavour was incredible, really special.
Perfect lunch for a hot summer day

I love the food but unfortunately I’ve had multiple unpleasant and very uncomfortable experiences with the owner and I won’t be going back for this reason.

Our favourite neighbourhood spot :) house ramen spicy is the way to go!!!!
My favourite Ramen place in the neighborhood! All their ramen is great but I usually order the Yuzu because it's my favourite :) Excellent service & friendly staff 5/5 🌟!
It’s really unfortunate — the food is excellent, but the staff is remarkably unfriendly.
It was my first visit, and I was simply trying to understand the menu. Instead of helping, the young waiter responded with a rude and condescending tone. About 10 minutes later, I returned to pick up my order, and the same staff member pointed vaguely at a package and said, “There,” as if eager to get me out the door. I still thanked him, but he just looked at me blankly, said nothing, and turned away into the kitchen.
Having a good understanding of Japanese culture, I found this behaviour particularly surprising and disappointing.
Frankly, I’ve had far better service at places like McDonald’s — at least the staff there greet you and show basic courtesy.
The management of this restaurant should seriously consider addressing how their staff interact with customers
Great ramen at a great price
