Description: This fresh, lively white offers a creamy edge to its bright apple, melon and light herb notes, which carry the zesty finish.
2022 'San Michele' Soave Classico DOC, Ca' Rugate, Veneto_750ml (12%25 ABV)
Varietals: 100% Garganega Vinification/Ageing: Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 16C to 18C for 8 to 12 days. Tasting Note: Light straw gold in colour. A fine bouquet of meadow flowers, with hints of camomile, elderflower and iris. An elegant wine with notes of sweet almonds on the finish. Great with white meat and simple seafood.
2020 'Passobianco' Terre Siciliane, Passopisciaro, Sicilia_750ml (13%25 ABV)
Varietals: 100% Chardonnay Vinification/Ageing: Vinification in steel vats for 20 days at 23 degrees Celsius. 10 months ageing in cement vats and large oak barrels, followed by an additional 6 months in bottle. Description: A rich and lush body signal the heat of the vintage, yet it is brightened by its characteristic minerality and acidity.

2021 'Merula' Salento IGT, Carvinea, Puglia_750 ml (14%25 ABV)
Varietals: 100% Montepulciano Vinification/Ageing: Maceration with the skins lasts 25 days. Aged in French barrique for 8-10 months, then 15 months in the bottle before release. A deep ruby red wine with notes of berries, licorice, and dark chocolate. Slight minerality on the nose with a firm and persistent structure, enriched by a fresh peppermint finish.
2018 Barolo del Comune di La Morra DOCG, Brandini _750ml (14%25 ABV)
Varietals: 100% Nebbiolo (Organic) The nose is aromatic and fine with notes of strawberry, spice and roses. Good body and exceptionally smooth; young tannins with and elegant and clean finish. Vinification/Ageing: 3 week maceration of the skins; ageing in large oak barrels (20-60hL) for 24 months followed by 6-8 months in the bottle.
2020 Chianti Classico DOCG, Pagliarese, Toscana_750 ml (13%25 ABV)
Varietals: 90% Sangiovese, 5% Canaiolo, 5% Mammolo Vinification/Ageing: Fermentation in steel at 28-30°C, with automatic pumping over and subsequent maceration for 12-15 days. Transfer and maturation in large oak barrels for 10-12 months and subsequent refinement in the bottle. Description: Intense ruby ​​red with fruity aromas, refined with spicy and mineral notes. Warm and elegant on the palate, with fine tannins. Harmonious and persistent aftertaste, with returns of fruit (small red fruits of the undergrowth) and spice.

A tribute to the native grape variety Ottavianello and its home in the town of Ostuni.
2020 'Moliss' Barbera d'Asti DOCG, Agostino Pavia, Piemonte_750 ml (14.5%25 ABV)
Vinification/Ageing: 13 to 15 days maceration in the marc with frequent pumping. Alcoholic fermentation at 28-30° C and malolactic fermentation within December. 11 months refinement from January, partly in 30-hectolitre barrels of Austrian oak, and partly in 500-litre casks made of Allier oak. Blend-ing in stainless steel vats and bottling next May. Ageing in bottles for about 5-6 months. Ageing potential: up to 7-9 years Tasting Note: Intense ruby red with violet reflections. Aromas of raspberries with a hint of herbs. On the palate the wine is broad and well-structured with good acidity, and a long persistent finish. An immensely versatile food wine.
2019 Barolo Bricco Boschis DOCG, Cavallotto, Piemonte_750 ml (14.5%25 ABV)
Varietals: 100% Nebbiolo (organic) Ageing/Vinification: fermented with indigenous yeasts, macerated with submerged cap for 20 to 35 days. Traditional ageing in Slavonian Oak Casks for 3 to 3.5 years. bottle aged 6 to 12 months before release into the market. Description: Optimal structure but with already-soft tannins, and with an open, intense perfume that gives this Barolo characteristics of both power and great elegance. Complex and fragrant, can be enjoyed young but has great aging potential.
2018 Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, Casanuova delle Cerbaie, Toscana_750 ml (14%25 ABV)
Varietals: 100% Sangiovese Vinification / Aging: 24 months in Slavonic oak followed by another 10 months aging in the bottle. Description: Intense deep ruby ​​red color with garnet nuances, austere, well-rounded fragrances of truffle, new leather and thyme. Juicy black cherry with white pepper and licorice notes. An original Franciacorta in a modern style, making skilful use of the Pinot nero grapes. The nose features distinct notes of wild berries, fresh rose petals, hints of apple and tropical fruit. Structured palate, crisp and sapid. The finish is long and well balanced. Vinification/Ageing: 20 day fermentation in stainless steel tank followed by partial malolactic fermentation. Maceration for one day with fermentation in steel tanks.

Varietals: 100% Montepulciano Ageing/Vinification: 6-7 hours maceration on skins; fermentation in stainless steel with 3 month ageing on lees. Description: A beautiful medium salmon colour with typical notes of black currant, ripe red fruit and a hint of spice. Fresh, sapid and wonderfully refreshing, this is an easy to pair rosato.
2018 Nerello Mascalese Rosato, Terre Siciliane IGT, Ayunta, Sicilia_750 ml (12.5%25 ABV)
Varietals: 100% Nerello Mascalese (organic) Vineyards: 2,8 hectares of old vineyards at almost 700m above the sea level on the northern slopes of the Mount Etna in Sicily, close to the little village of Randazzo, about one our driving north the city of Catania. Vinification/Ageing: old vines, no chemicals, no additives. Soft and gentle pressing in order to not extract too much colouring (no maceration), followed by spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel and aged in cement for 7 months. Description: A coppery rosato inspired by Provencal rose, this is fresh, flinty and briny. The vines are 50-100 years old on Etna's volcanic soils.

We went to La Bettola for an early family dinner after a show and had such a lovely experience. We were immediately greeted and seated in a cozy booth in the room just to the right of the hostess stand — quiet, comfortable, and perfectly tucked away. Our server, Christo, was incredible — friendly, attentive, and so knowledgeable about the menu. The food was outstanding! Great authentic italian restaurant close to Ed Mirvish and Massey Hall. All in walking distance. Very nice set-up, very clean. Our main waitress Tea was fantastic and very knowledgable about the menu and was able to suggest 2 excellent pasta dishes. Drinks and dessert were delicious. I can only recommend La Bettola Di Terroni who anyone who is looking for authentic italian cuisine.
