My wife came in for empanadas and holiday bread but they were sold out. The owner and his staff were very accommodating in ensuring my wife gets the bread she came down for. We really appreciate the effort from this team and would recommend this place!

Meaty empanadas with a well-seasoned fillings and a crispy shell. They also offer proper dishes, but might be difficult to enjoy fresh since the interior is tiny with paltry seating. Service is friendly, and there is a $10 credit card transaction minimum.

At this point, I can't carry on for more than a week without eating at La Morena or my strength falters. So yum. Best spot. Needs way more stars.

Start off by saying the food here is delish! Buttt their quality and sizing isnât like it use to be!
I mentioned it to the gentleman thatâs always on cash, super nice and friendlyâŠbut saying that the quality and size of Empanadas went down since you got a new cook, doesnât really cut it. There should be a standard, probably QA them before even putting them outâŠand surely youâve noticed that your still charging 6 bucks for what is now a 2 bite empanada.
To be fair I still bought 2 cheese empanadas cause I didnât take 2 buses for nothingâŠ.but making me wait 8 minutes for fresh ones, and then bagging the ones on display while you thought I wasnât lookingâŠnot cool!

Amazing Ecuadorian food in a great little spot on st clair. Small indoor seating area which makes for a great atmosphere, and delicious food. Tried a few empanadas (each of which were amazing) and a fritada platter which was amazing. Do not miss this place!

Iâve tried the sancocho, ceviche, and empanadas. The food is very delicious and fresh and portions are fair! The guy who operates the cash register and I think he also cooks is very patient in answering questions and is friendly too. The place is very tiny and is more of a takeout place although many people eat there (I think there were three tables). They donât open late and I live across the city so I canât really drop by easily.

I ordered 2 empanadas, one of cheese and one ecuatoriano of carne. I love them bc we'refresh & crunchy. The soursop juice I'd recommend to order 100% pulp.
I love the cold coffee. It had a good taste

My favourite place for empanadas!! Their vegan empanada is absolutely delicious. Crispy shell with great mix of veg instead. My partner loves their meat ones. The family owned place is small and cozy, and theyâre genuinely so nice. The father makes me laugh every time we chat with him!
